Nemesis One Week Race

It is not about time, it is about skill mostly. A good player can achieve LOT more for same time that a bad player. Easy example - 2 hour races. Just look at tables - for example my best result is 30 level, and top 5 is 34-36, almost double the experience. Same time, great difference. Good players in party scales even better.
So party of good players can easy be in top, and WILL be in top, by playing same time or even lower amount of time than the rest of players.

If one of the earlier posts was accurate that there will be 10,000 people participating, then rewarding the top 40 is less than half a percent of the participants getting a reward.

Why do you want to be one of those players that doesn't "have a life outside of gaming"

Consider this, which is better:
- A 1 week race that requires "8 hrs a day" right during the end of year holidays that has prizes you want...
Or
- A 1 week race that requires "8 hrs a day" right during the end of year holidays that doesn't have anything of interest to you so you can safely ignore and not miss out (which is currently the case)


You might say something like "They need to do a race which doesn't require as much dedication but with prizes"... But we've just had a race season that's ticked this box!

There are no other prizes - because those have already been on offer for the past 2 months!

This is a 1 week race for competitive players (and probably teams) to duke it out for a week to compete for those top spots!'


If you're looking for something to do in the game - you could always work towards some of the challenges in the 4 month leagues currently running - and/or play for some uniques in those leagues.

p.s. Don't just assume this is going to be a cake walk for the really good players - they'll need to be organised - and on e wrong move can screw up a character that a week of work has been put into - really those top spots are going to be exciting for the players to see how it goes I imagine.

I have a question about this race. Since it consists both mods from nemesis and domination
, does the drop rate is also different? I hope it is higher. For a newbie player like me,
I wont get any prize in any prize structure, and it is rightfully so. But if the drop rate
Is higher, then this will be a nice motivation for players like me and hopefully we can get
Some uniques in this race as our souvenirs.

Are we also getting points towards the rewards for this one? i'm shy like 33 hehe for the prize I wanted, but anywhoo the rewards do seem a bit unjust. Surviving to level 65 should count as some sort of something imo. Anyway the idea of ranking top 40 for a semi casual(me) looks bleek, but I'll still try it I suppose.

Anyway that's the consensus amongst us more prizes, mind you they don't have to be easy just not impossible to reach. Most of us will NOT make it to even top 100 lol then again maybe I'm overestimating just how many no lifers will play.

Please people stop asking prizes for just participating or scoring a certain level (thoe things are what every player can do, and it's nothing extraordinary), prizes should be deserved.
Instead of that - how about just have fun? Starting in a fresh environment has been always a fun thing - D2, Mu Online, Ultima Online kept me playing them just of wipes/ladder resets.

Also, if you want prizes - get better at the racing, at the game in general, it's not a rocket science. This season was very easy in getting points (due to Void League).
I'm not the top player, but I still place decent, usually around top 10-20 Witch. Even won one race:

We'll see on the 1-week, but most likely won't be running for TOP40, yet who knows..

No, drop rates will be the same as usual. Any feeding league will never have improved drop rates, always equal. Feeding leagues have to be equal or harder than the league they are feeding, so as not to corrupt the economies.

No, this is an offseason event. Season 5 has ended.
