How about random names for everyone... really, it doesn't matter what name your character have.

I'll be one of those new players and I don't mind. It's a nice perk for CB players, and those who supported certainly deserved it. As for those who just got lucky, well, they got lucky. And giving namesniping free reign would make sure the more known players would not be able to claim their current name.
The average player will either be creative enough to not be bothered, or care to the extent of calling his character Ixsephiroth5xxI. |

I think that those who believed in this game so much that they went out and spent their hard earned money even though they did not have to have more than earned the right to keep their names. For without them, there would be no game, at least not in it's current form.
The pet is a nice way for us to show our support in-game as well, but perhaps a more permanent, always on, way would also be nice. With perhaps a small Kiwi icon next to our character name, colored to match our support level. Just an idea. :) |

It's only fair for them to have their names reserved. But i think that the rest (of us) should start as same as the OB players :> per aspera ad astra
