You're right, it isn't. Rocket science requires accuracy or people die. This is a video game. People will live if the patch doesn't come out until next week.

GGG notifies people about patch incoming day x, informs about delay quite a few hours before day x, implements patch exactly as rescheduled, meanwhile sharing some festivities pics with the community as they are apparently a healthy working environment that cares about its employees and also do not have stuff stuck up their collective asses... people bitch about unprofessionalism.

Chris posted yesterday (the OP of this thread) saying the patch would be deployed today (Friday) NZ time. This is still true and we're still on track for that release - I don't see how not posting since to say the same thing is a "lack of communication", since it's still true. Is there really that much to be gained from us stopping to say "the patch is still coming when we said it would"?

I am sure pointing your finger at people for a few flaws is not part of "How to be a professional". And I'm also sure you're not "perfect", nobody is perfect, nobody is immune to mistakes.

Don't point your finger at them, you are surely not perfect.

I'm eagerly waiting for Storm Call and it's 01:48 here... Almost 2 AM and I got to wake up at 08:00, but well, I had to at least wait and see lol. However, if it's for a better patch then it's alright.

This game exists because of them, they could say "we stopped and we won't be patching anymore, this will be the same game forever" and you would still play for ages before you gave up, most of the game content is already there to explore. The best you can do is to wait and stop whining because all I see from your statements is lack of politeness and an enormous urge to judge people and point your finger at the first one who makes a slight mistake.

Wow, really? May I ask, why do you really even care? It's a fricken free to play video game. Instead of sitting here bitching because a patch needs some work before it's released, maybe you should go outside and do something else...

I don't see them posting party pics being unprofessional in the least. The party was after hours of their work schedule and as such wouldn't effect the time of the patch release (I hope you wouldnt expect them to work through out the night just so you can have your fix of PoE ...).
