Im in NZ, and if anyone knows it, we dont really have 1st world internet. Yet i still downloaded it in less then 5min

It hit me, and I hope it is just a flesh wound.

I finished the long patch, and restarted and was told a patch was needed.
A shorter patch was installed on the 2nd try, but I got the same message.
It's groundhog day, after 4 tries I have given up.

I deleted the local content entirely, and am reloading the package from zero.

Hope this gets me on the "path" again.

Deleting local content (Steam) and reinstalling PoE put me back on the Path, as hoped.

what was the "surprise" in the patch?
