Again, glaring unprofessionalism.
The new ETA is almost upon us, yet there are still not even patch notes. By itself, this wouldn't be a big deal, but given that the previous ETA for the same event was delayed (in combination with the unfortunate and unprofessional posting of party pics), means that people will, for good reason, start believing that you will once again not meet this ETA.
This really isn't rocket science.
What is done outside of their working hours, which likely had no effect on the release time of the patch isn't anything unprofessional. They like to share company events with their games fans and if it was posted at any other time, you wouldn't take issue to it. Stop whining and move on. To think that deadlines are always met, is childish. I'm sure any other game you've ever played has never had delays from patches, ever.

Look at it this way instead. Everyone is really eager to play the new patch. People are in emotional throes over it.
Be aware that this patch brings a large number of changes as well. Testing out an entirely revamped DoT system isn't chump change.
Patch nodes would be lovely now though. Seriously I can't wait.
