PoE 2 servers are restarting in: .
They should be back up in approximately .POE next king of RPG?; Oh yes it is, i have quited D3 and WoW even SC2 !
How to start guys, i think most of us hardcore Blizzard players, that played everything what they have put on the market, have recently start migrating to the POE. I'm not trying to be funny, this is starting to be serious. POE cold set new standars on how to make new amazing RPG, ARPG with amazing ladder system and events, that devs are planning.
There is so much to do in this game, it feels like never ending road of joy and happynes. I think our Kripparian explained most of the facts, so i'm not gonna go discovering hot water again. But hey devs of POE i salute you. PS. So you know i will keep donating as the time goes buy, i have tested back in July of 2012 in early beta but i came back now and it's final. This is the next thing for sure, i won't even bother looking back on other titles. Greeting from Alen aka Farystar Slovenia, Europe :) ! EDITED FROM RESPONSE: I agree with trading system not being as good atm, but i know they will revamp it eventually. But that is not important at this stage, because they will fix UI and AI and physics in the coming months specialy after offficial release. And i am 100% positive about this game, if we support it enough. I rather give them 200 EUR than give Blizzard for wow and D3 stupid pay to win, thats going last few years. Like Chris said, they don't want the game, which has pay to win system...we all saw what happens to the game and the community eventualy. But POE hited the sweet spot from the start and, if they will closely listen to the pro's like Kripparian things cant go wrong. If they will keep the fair politics about not to do pay to win system, they will win for sure !!! GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever. This is coming straight from the heart <3 Last edited by Foreverhappychan#4626 on Dec 26, 2012, 5:34:45 PM

I just wanted to add, that POE could sit on the throne for the next 10 years, if things will go on this path. I can see myself playing this for the next 10 years at least.
Peace :)! GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever.

inb4kriphaters.
I completely agree, this is definitely the next big game! If it's this awesome now, just imagine with more updates GGG has in store. |

Hahaha. I'm in the same situation as you are. This game has taken over all my free time.

Yeah and short comment about Kripparian. I watch all his videos and he's explained a lot. It's refreshing though that after a few hours of playing you realize how deep the game is. There's always something new or awesome to learn that'll improve your character building.

A nice thought, but a highly doubt it.
People think D3 died so quickly because it was a "bad game". In my opinion, it died because it was an ARPG. ARPGs have little place in mainstream gaming in this day and age. Typically underwhelming graphics. Little to no real time skill challenge. Complete lack of competition between players. It misses every checkbox that the majority of today's gamers demand in every release. My knowledge on the genre is not exemplary by any standards, but what was the last truly successful ARPG? |

O NO NOT BLIZZARD PEOPLE NOOOOOOoooooo!!!
This game will thrive on a level with hardcore gamers ( not the game mode but person style ) As far as the great masses of gammers i can't c it. However anything is posible and the game deserves to be number 1 for a long time, like D2 was , and probley will be. Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time
Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them. |

Imbalanxd, there's a game called Diablo 2 that stood the test of time for over 10 years.
Path of Exile has even more potential. |
|
" So the last truly successful ARPG is from 13 years ago? Ok, just checking. |

Ok As much As I LOVE to see this game succeed and believe me I do after D3, its very Bad juju to claim something of being the new "king" of a genre. So I wouldn't claim PoE to be King...yet. At least after 2 months AFTER it officially releases. Otherwise we could jinx the game very bad..like Warhammer online and SW:TOR bad.
Just my share of what I experienced within the Past decade. |
