Hardcore Character Restoration after 1.0.1 Carrion Queen Bug

This sets a bad precedent and I can already hear people clamoring for restores because of things that were out of their control. Lag, bugs, acts of god, natural disasters, cat eating the internet cable, little sister unplugging your rig, all these are just things that can kill you on HC. HC players know and accept this when they make that HC char. Reviving HC characters only makes the league feel less legitimate. It's not "HC only if it was your fault if you died". It's HC.

"In each and every game the Alt+F4 combo doesn't work and if you log out or disconnect mid-fight your character stays in game anyway and I think it should be like this in PoE as well! I'd love to see the number of rips caused by that, because there's far too many bad players that manage to get to high level in HC just because of that... IGN:

So if we're restoring dead characters now that died from 'bugs', can I or anybody else who died to this have their characters back now?

They're only doing it this time because of the small window it was in and because of the nature of the bug. Stop being a bunch of idiots and just be grateful if you got your shit back.

For all those who don't agree with restores in extremely rare cases imagine this happens to you like it did to us:
You login and load up your character. You enter a zone. You walk 10 feet and die. It's not as if connection issues or desync killed our characters. People reported getting 1 shot from off the screen lol. |
