Explanation of some changes in 0.9.13h
I'm thinking the new recipes will involve similar prefixes/suffixes. 3 or 4 matches on prefix/suffix.

Totems are cheap in pvp. There is no actual skill involved in game yet they provide easy & efficient wins. Cast, sip coffee, victory.

great to see hybrid boosts but i still see armor mechanics are more of a problem than evasion. I don't follow the math but a little evasion can still give you a respectable damage reduction, but a little armor is basically useless, right? Armor great when stacked to extreme levels but why would i bother with hybrid armor at all if it does nothing for big hits? I think maybe the armor mechanics should be made more linear?

Seems like a good patch. I'm not sure if Chris is still looking at the thread but I am very interested to hear an official word on whether skill gem quest rewards are going to stay the same in OB as they are now. I am guessing that Act3 quests won't be quite the same order as going back to Act1 is now & I am wondering if this will mean more/less or different skill gems as rewards.
I am currently spreadsheeting a few build ideas but they all hinge on being able to get hold of certain gems from quest rewards. I want to gather them myself as gems won't really be for sale initially so the information is somewhat critical when designing builds & choosing characters. I understand you can't really give the names of Act3 quests just yet but if you can't confirm or deny the rewards at this stage will we at least get the information before OB is actually live? Thx |

Nice job nerfing recipes. Players with extra storage tabs had a big economic advantage and it allowed player to pay to win. This balances the playing field a bit.

" As Merciless is probably going away... I would expect the quest rewards to rotate appropriately: Old ---- New A1 N --- A1 N A2 N --- A2 N A1 C --- A3 N A2 C --- A1 C Etc. The only alternative to this would be to reduce the award rate of EXP, which would in effect mean going into A2 weaker and leaving A3 at same level you would leave A2 now... -- Providing opinions since I was old enough to tell my sister she was ugly. |
