1.0.0 Balance Changes

I prefer to see items immediately and the whole time, without hiding by pressing "Z". Drop amounts of items are atm way too high. This is a true issue and needs to be fixed, imo. I am very happy about the fact, GGG finally starts to work out a solution.

I don't like the aura changes at all. I'm playing self-found solo only. I have more than 1000 hours in PoE and the gear I found so far is mediocre at best hence all my toons heavily rely on multiple auras especially in merciless and maps. Auras are the only way to compensate for missing endgame gear.

The only way I see to compensate for the loss of defensive auras is getting even more life and defensive nodes up to the point where you could as well remove all the offensive nodes and I wouldn't feel the difference. This doesn't sound like fun or build diversity to me.

If you're really going through with this increased aura costs then at least give us solo leagues where you leave the aura costs untouched. Changing quality aura bonuses in these solo leagues would also be highly appreciated.

The aura changes as communicated so far are a drastic nerf to solo play while well organized parties will get even stronger. Please don't tell me to party up because I can't even if I wanted to (I get a headache after 10min from this blitzkrieg).

That's great that they want MF to be less necessary but with the exp changes, it seems like high level maps will be more for finding gear than leveling, making MF more necessary again.

That auras thing worries me a bit, cause even -1 aura will make a huge setback for me (melee mara).

i started the game like 1 month ago and liked it so far, but taking my auras will mean i have to play in partys more. i actually like to farm solo for a bit. Eldrich battery builds will be useless after changes and you can just simply remove the node if you want to. i mean if i can have like 2 40% auras and my La costing like 100 i would need 500 Mana which i can get without EB. All solo players or glass cannon players are getting destroyed. i can just start a new build with that changes. no sense in playing on mine

I agree with peoples who says the aura change will furhter increase the gap between solo players and party players. I tried many times to play in a party and it's just... bad, boring and laggy. If party play becomes that much more effective than solo play, im not gonna force myself into a play-style i dislike. Im just gonna quit the game.

Theres plenty of great game types that offers a great multiplayer experience. Hack and slash games... not so much. What are the "interactions" with the other players in a hack and slash multiplayer? How does one player helps the other players? With his auras? What else? Conduit? So thats it... the multiplayer interactions in this game are... passives. Be it auras or conduit. It's just passives. You don't need to do anything special to help the others. All you need to do is... be there. The passives do all the work. Why reward that "interactivity" over the poor solo players? It's not like party players needs to use more strategies to clear content, such as healing a teamate when he needs it or casting a protective spell when he's under heavy fire. Theres no such thing in this game. So why reward party play and make it like twice as easy as solo play exactly?

Multiplayer in this game is doing exactly the same thing as a solo player does except you do it in the same instance as other players.

Am i the only one that feels like party play in this game is too much of a race? "Oh theres that rare id like to pick but i'd need to rearange my inventory in order to have the room for it but i don't have time for that because my party is rushing as fast as they can to reach the end boss. If I fall behind my party i will lose tons of loot." To me it's just... not enjoyable at all. Or maybe the game was intended like this. Rush a map in 2 mins then take 5-10 mins to run back and pick up the loot? So much fun!

Why can't solo play be as viable as party play? "Grinding Gear Games". It should be about grinding gears and solo play should be just as efficient as party play.

Would be sad to see Erqi nerfed compared to mid 2h rare.

Not sure how well some of these things bode for us soloers. I'll do a new character for the Domination league and see how far i get with a similar idea to what i had and soloing everything, self-found no trade etc.

But i imagine ill get to the same pitfalls of strict gear checks and slow item progression.

Some of these changes sound great, but.. You promised to keep 'single player' an equal playstyle.

Desync?

I'm going to be extremely disappointed if I download the client and desync is still as shitty as it was 6 months ago when I was playing.
