Did anyone see the Video that was posted http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/541295 play of the Scion?

I posted a thread there... I will also say my piece here:

So let me get this straight ....She has 1681 mana, running 2 Auras (Clarity / Hatred) and it takes 948 mana RESERVED for just these 2? I would assume Reduced Mana and Eldritch Battery (No Energy Shield at All) being used to obtain this amount of mana? SPEECHLESS....

DISAPPOINTED to say the least.

Being able to stack 6 or 7 auras does nothing for build diversity. I see this as a good change, it will force people to actually choose which auras are most beneficial to them instead of just stacking them all, and/or actually try with party dynamics to achieve that level. Parties now are massive aura stacking and little challenge.
I would just like to say yes, viper strike and poison arrow were already strong, when playing solo. I played a build that specialized as much as possible with +3 weapons etc etc, and things died quickly while solo.

Although, in a full party, that chaos damage is BARELY noticable on high level mobs while other people are just one shotting everything.
Seriously, loving it. Awesome awesome awesome GGG :)
I have to say I love these changes. I see alot of complaining about the Aura changes but I think it is a needed change for sure. I think it makes people choose and creates more diversity. I really don't get the argument of "I can't run 5-6-7 auras anymore...it ruins my character" I run 5 auras myself, but I'm not ruined without them. I am just forced to address the flaws in my build, deal with the fact that no class should be able to do everything and choose which way I want to go. We don't go for certain passives because we can just use an aura, we are elemental based so we stack all of the elemental auras, we stack the defensive auras to make up for nodes we chose not to take, sacrifice resists because we can use an aura to make up for some of it. All of these are fine on their own but to say it's unfair that we can't do all of that?? I have to spend points in areas on my tree on stuff I took for granted and labeled as "useless" because I can run 6 auras and be better off...it only cost me 1K Hps??...and those extra points means I have thing from 3 opposing points of the skill tree?? I don't think I should be able to take the best parts of 4 different class trees and I expect that if I do I am going to have some major flaws. I think that is part of why the game did get a little boring for me, too many classes all pretty much being the same build because it's all reachable..you can just cover it up with auras. Between that and the new class being added to the tree I can't wait to see what it's going to do. I hope it will make us start caring about party makeups, make us look for certain builds or auras we need for those last few spots, make all of us truly unique and different. When we see a Maurader, Duelist and a Ranger in the group actually expecting 3 different builds that bring something unique instead of 3 completely different classes that are all LA and have the same passives, run the same auras, run the same gear...oh and are all probably clean up into the templar tree...we went there just for the Ele nodes...some of us still run all the way into the witch tree for nodes there too. Thats just my 2 cents thoughb

I agree with peoples who says the aura change will furhter increase the gap between solo players and party players. I tried many times to play in a party and it's just... bad, boring and laggy. If party play becomes that much more effective than solo play, im not gonna force myself into a play-style i dislike. Im just gonna quit the game.

Theres plenty of great game types that offers a great multiplayer experience. Hack and slash games... not so much. What are the "interactions" with the other players in a hack and slash multiplayer? How does one player helps the other players? With his auras? What else? Conduit? So thats it... the multiplayer interactions in this game are... passives. Be it auras or conduit. It's just passives. You don't need to do anything special to help the others. All you need to do is... be there. The passives do all the work. Why reward that "interactivity" over the poor solo players? It's not like party players needs to use more strategies to clear content, such as healing a teamate when he needs it or casting a protective spell when he's under heavy fire. Theres no such thing in this game. So why reward party play and make it like twice as easy as solo play exactly?

Multiplayer in this game is doing exactly the same thing as a solo player does except you do it in the same instance as other players.

Am i the only one that feels like party play in this game is too much of a race? "Oh theres that rare id like to pick but i'd need to rearange my inventory in order to have the room for it but i don't have time for that because my party is rushing as fast as they can to reach the end boss. If I fall behind my party i will lose tons of loot." To me it's just... not enjoyable at all. Or maybe the game was intended like this. Rush a map in 2 mins then take 5-10 mins to run back and pick up the loot? So much fun!

Why can't solo play be as viable as party play? "Grinding Gear Games". It should be about grinding gears and solo play should be just as efficient as party play.

agree 100% with you.I hate party playing to.And it should not be something i NEED to do to be able to play the game.Or enjoy the game or be more effective. That doesn't make any sense to me.They already fixed the exploit with bm gear and alpha howl and so on,i can't understand the huge nerf they are doing now...

chris, can you add a way to preview changes to the skill tree without confirming them? i realize that this would make it easier to optimize builds but the people who care can do the math anyway and it would, for example, make it easy to tell if a particular node affects a certain skill/weapon or if i have high enough stats after a tree reset to reequip all of my items.

having a checkbox in the tree window and then having the changes show up in the stats window, especially in yellow next to the current stats, would work well.
