1.0.0 Balance Changes

so will I get more loot from merc piety with 500IIR ? who tell me?

The problem IMO as a self found player is not the 4-linking of items, which is not that difficult. If you farm cruel Fellshrine/Docks for a while you bound to find some 4-links which you can use.

My first character was a BM 2-handed lightning strike marauder, following a ground slam marauder build with static blows. The problem is that in Merciless difficulty you cant stack enough life and max resists without taking only life and resists nodes in the passive tree. As self found it`s really difficult to find gear with high life rolls and resist rolls on them, so you can actually get some damage nodes of the tree. getting enough sockets and linking them is a piece of cake in comparison.

After this I made a fireball which, who reached merciless docks without a problem at all. I just took a couple of life nodes so I could deal with chaos damage and took like 12 ES nodes. I ran purity, so I got max resist easily. the survivability of my witch is much better that that of my marauder, with less than half passive nodes invested.

IMO it would be much better to drastically reduce the amount of life nodes on the tree, but buff some of the existing ones with flat life. also give flat life too physical melee damage nodes and reduce % life overall. This would make Kaom`s less overpowered as well.
Nah im not so happy with some changes like the iir/iiq and the Aura Change. Im using a lot of iir/iiq (and yes i am not rich, thats why im using it) and the blood magic gem :/

I'm good with aura cost change, only if the passive nodes for reducing those costs arent too bad. They said you can still run multiple auras this way, we just need to see how this will work in game.

That's the worst possible option. With the new system, there's increased cost but they said there will be passive nodes to reduce the cost if you still wanna do multiple auras.

They are giving us options, we just need to see how it's gonna work. Your way takes away auras, and gives no possibilities to run them. Lets give GGG a chance here and wait for 1.0.0 to see if it works or not.

Limiting the number of auras impose people to choose which run or which not, so basically, they have all the options opened but they simply cannot run all of them, which is the real problem here. Increasing their mana cost, and allow then to decrease it through passives means players have to sacrifice other important nodes ( life, damage, resistences, armor ) in order to get what is basically free now.

So fusings get better = higher price for them = because of vendors, price of jewelers will increase = alterations will increase = vendoring rares will get better?

Cant you just add simple UI option with checkboxes or something similar, so that player can choose what he will see on the ground, all items or just rares, uniques, maps, 6s and currency?
I think this option would make this game much more enjoyable.

But this one is quite bad from GGG. Items drop, all you have to do is press "Z" to not see them, but their solution is to reduce the numbers of dropped items?

I still don't see how they can go from too many items drop in maps with high quantity bonus' to we need to universally nerf personal MF to fix this. Shouldn't they be adjusting the map quantity bonus instead?
