Yeah and to be honest: It's the articles fault. It poorly describes the actual game features, lacks a promotional video linked to it and/or maybe a factlist.

People think: reskilling is impossible, yet they don't see that active skills can be changed whenever you want. (Since its just the passives that are "fixed" (refund points and regrets are not thaat hard to get by)

They believe it will be a "scam" due to microtransactions (since no examples were given that they really don't impact gameplay in any serious way)


GGG needs to make sure to get better PR than this!

I've already seen the npc when I was messing with game system and files months ago. But seeing this map and the town just made me think "Undead Burg all over again <3",

Looking forward to Dec & the new content but please put some heavy focus onto endgame soon, it really is needed. 50% more content is great but as I understand it there will only be 3 difficulties (is this still correct?). This means that people will still be fairly quick to reach endgame where it essentially becomes 100% of the game.

From what I understand, once act 3 is added there will also be more maps to take advantage of the act 3 tilesets. The inclusion of PvP will also add to the endgame, and the constant stream of ladders/competitions will help keep things fresh.

Hated the title of the article, tbh if I hadn't known it was POE I would not have read it.
Thought it did not adequately describe the actual game or concept very well at all.

No need to be mad at the clueless people in Kotaku's comment section. They can't scare away any customers because PoE is f2p and so eventually everyone interested in ARPGs will try it out sooner or later :)
