Kotaku unveils Path of Exile's Third Act

It's not a bad article, is it?

Incidentally, I went and clicked on the "communications" article, followed by the "hellish-working conditions" article. Don't forget to give yourselves a little holiday after you release OB and the immediate bugs have been patched. :P

Just make sure everybody knows that you are away when it happens.

The game surprised be beyond belief when I first tried it on one of the free open beta weekends few months back (had not long stopped playing D3) and since then I have been playing it ever since, I also have converted 5 other people who also love the game, lets be be honest, it is easy to love this game.
I started a few days ago and seriously, even being in an unfinished state I'm having the most hack and slash fun since I played D2 way back when.

The concept behind itemization of almost everything makes it simply brilliant.

Reading about act 3 and thinking of all the possible stuff that will get thrown in makes me even more excited.

I don't understand the haters
This game is truly for the hardcore gamers with complex systems. Massive replayability, good graphics, similar to diablo 3. I played the open beta in September and I must say everything is pretty polished. From the skills systems to currency, everything looks good and I am sure it will work out well.

I do hope that there will be more content added into the game in the open beta, including an Act 4(Finale Act or something like that). I can definitely see this game having the longevity of diablo 2.

Anyway, I am hoping to get my beta key soon because I can't wait until December for the open beta, this game is just too much fun.
Would love beta access
I can understand the fact that some people find the game boring. For me, it's simply that they stop at earlier levels. The true fun begins with the support gems and when you begin to collect a fair amount of orbs. In other words, when you can really customize your character. Maybe several people stop before. Maybe they think a level 1 character should one shot a dozen of enemies with each hit.
I'm glad it's not the case.

This. Also the gameplay feels a bit clunky until you get increased movement- and attack/castspeed later on.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
I'm very disappointed that this exclusive was given to Kotaku. Gawker Media is a fucking cancer and even PoE won't entice me to give them a single page view. Giving this exclusive to them just as the scandal about Jezebel authors blackmailing Reddit mods broke was really, really poor timing. Please post this content somewhere else so I can read it and share it with friends, and please never give any exclusive content to Gawker again if you want another penny of my money or my recommendation to anyone. As much as I love PoE and GGG, I hate Gawker far, far more.
Can't wait. PvP is possinle right?
