What's happening when Anarchy/Onslaught leagues end?
" What i want or you want or whatever dude wants should not prevail over the first and foremost priority of the game: be balanced, be healthy. So yea, if my stuff is proven to be overpowered and needs to be balanced then yes please do it, i dont mind. Because the health of the game matters the most, not some personal and 100% subjective cry over some op item. simple. logic. " +1 |

" Its obvious that they want that, because all the actions they'd take so far. -multiple versions of the same already proven op items exists; -league-only uniques; -league-only new item bases; -league-only challenges; -league-only whatever. They try so hard to make you play the 4-month-temporary new leagues. It's there, only a blind person would not see it. |

question about ending leagues anarchy and onslaught...
-will all items equipped remain on characters? -will all items in inventory remain in characters inventory? -do we need to move these items if they dont remain in inventory/equip slots, into character stashes?? need real answers here. ur generalization about anarchy/ons items isnt good enough.
damage modifiers don't can currently can't apply to degen.
If those new temporary leagues won't be interesting enough, I guess I'll reroll and start playing self-found in standard league. Either way, I will not have anything to do with this OP megaunique cancer.

I just want to say. Like most others, I agree that Legacy items fucking suck.
I'm one of the people that can obtain them when they're at their most expensive. I DON'T LIKE THEM BEING OVERPOWERED. It is BAD design. It shows you're LAZY. Instead of fixing the entire problem you put a band-aid over part of the problem and go "it's good as new!" The only people it's fun for, are the only people it doesn't matter to. Someone who's rich and will just get a little bit richer. While it means that someone starting the game has to work a TON extra to get the same thing, punishing them for not starting to play the game sooner. I'm 100% certain you don't want that to be the message. "Sorry you have to work so much harder, should've started playing sooner." Yeah, people will "quit" because you did this or because you did that. People are going to quit either way. Do what will make future players go "oh cool" instead of "man why is that so expensive/rare/etc? I wish I had one, but I'll NEVER be able to get one". Because you know that feeling, and that feeling is shit. And if you don't, imagine. |

I still don't get why people say that they dont want their old gear to be changed. Nerfs are in every single other games... "Wow my koams will loose 200 hp, making it not as good, but still the best hp chest there is in the game. I really couldnt live with that"

As I have discovered this game less than 2 months ago and I wanted to experiment a bit with all classes, my highest level character is 50 at the moment, the other being late thirties / early forties.
This means I still have a lot to learn and to experiment before pretending knowing anything about PoE, which as a result will have me squatting Standard league once Anarchy is gone. This doesn't mean I won't have an interest in new leagues, but I'd like to level my characters more in a permanent league and learn - if only to avoid committing the same early mistakes that I did. In fact, I'd be more interested in new leagues once I'd have leveled several of my characters to end of game. Starting in a new - temporary - league wouldn't guarantee I'd ever be able to reach end of game level with a character... I'd hate to run through normal and cruel within each new temporary league if I'd never be able to reach merciless nor drop an exalted orb before the league ends. As I intend to further develop characters in Standard mode I'm concerned with the "pollution" that I'd meet there so I'd voice my opinion that "legacy" items is a no go option - OP objects ? Nuke them all or leave them be, but don't create unfairness by allowing full blown and nerfed down versions of items to co-exist. Perhaps it would make sense to have a (new) permanent league that would not be considered as an elephants burying ground for gone temporary leagues characters but as a boot camp and a haven for people not wanting to start from scratch every few months or wanting to level their characters at a relaxed pace. A league that wouldn't be troubled with any hiccups / cock ups coming from other leagues as an alternative to the current "Standard" one. I started this game in Anarchy league as it was the default option and built several characters there not knowing it was a temporary one. Should I have known I would surely have built my extra characters in Standard league... I like to experiment new things here and there but I rate real estate above castles of sand. |

Spoiler
Base types from the core game will also continue to drop. The Onyx Amulet will have its implicit mod reduced to 10-16 to all attributes. Any Onyx Amulets found or rolled with Blessed Orbs before this change goes into effect will keep their higher values.

" this has nothing to do with the fact that the so called "legacy" items are extremely bad for the game. |
