What's happening when Anarchy/Onslaught leagues end?

it doesnt matter in what league you play or how the league is called.
what matters is that ALL leagues need to be balanced and healthy. thats all.

i dont whine, i merely tell the developer of this game what huge mistake are they making.
and the children are them for being afraid to man up and do the only right thing which is: nerf all or dont nerf at all. no legacy allowed.

League specific uniques from Anarchy and Onslaught already filter into standard. Dead HC gear filters into standard. Anarchy filters into standard. There can never be balance in standard.

Maybe you didnt notice but there are specific uniques in ONS, uniques in Anarchy, it won't drop anymore and they all fall in Std league in some way... There are already legacy uniques. So no, all leagues are not balanced.

Std is trash league, with no challenge, no ranking, no balance. Std does exist only because GGG promises that there will not be any wipe for the release, but the reality is different, there will be regular wipe , every 4 months, with fresh new leagues with new challenge, ranking and balance.

Is that way because ggg wants it to be that way, not because it cannot be balanced and good.
They do it with intention, they perfectly know what they are doing.
Ofc it can be balanced but not by a scared developer who lost it somewhere in the process.
Its a matter of principle. They just don't have a solid/healthy (on the contrary, their principles regarding this are ill, sick, diseased) way of doing things about leagues, transfers, legacies etc

+1 too and the fact I don't own any 1k ES Chest has nothing to do with that.
Or please boost Shav to 1k ES ( and add 2 resists ) to make it competitive.

I have a big concern over the transfer of the Onslaught only uniques to the standard league. Players are buying them up and then killing an alts to sell them in the standard league. It has really messed up part of the economy and fun in OS. It has inflated the prices where inflation should not have been until the special leagues ended.

I don't think the standard league should have access to special league only uniques until the leagues end. Is there going to be a fix for this in other upcoming leagues? Maybe if you die in the special HC with one of those league only uniques, it is non transferable to other accounts until that league has ended?

Edit, that would not work either. They would just make a level 1 and trade it in the special HC league to move it to the standard league.

The only fix I can think of is to Disable those special league only uniques in standard until the special league ends. I would of liked to have had my Voll's Devotion in regular HC, but I have to wait... the standard league should too.

Posting again to say NO to legacy items! Change them all or don't change them at all.

These two quotes here should be enough to end this ridiculous thread.

The entire game design is based around leagues. It's an ingenious system that ensures a fresh economy, new items, new challenges and new and exciting variations on the base game. If you don't want to play in a "polluted" economy, then don't play in the default league.

Everything, from not really "dying" in hardcore to throwaway characters made for a 12 minute race will eventually end up in the parent league. It's a fundamental design feature of the game, just as much as the skill tree and gems are.

Even that temporary character you made for a race will be moved to hardcore so you can continue playing him if you desire. And then, when (if) you die, he will be moved to standard league. All of the items that are unique to the race and to hardcore will be moved to standard with him.

It is designed this way so that people don't lose any of their equipment or progress.

It's really not rocket surgery: Just play in a different league, and if you get attached to your character when the league ends, then continue in standard - and who knows, maybe you'll be the guy with the amazing unique stuff from a league that ended 12 months ago.

Wouldn't that be cool? It would like having the now unobtainable kiwi pet to show off forever.
