What's happening when Anarchy/Onslaught leagues end?
Look, people were really angry with Lioneyes beeing too OP, that didnt prevent to have Soultaker released few month later... So the conclusion is easy.

Will you be able to Chance base Anarchy/Onslaught items in standard league to obtain the unique variants?

" I really don't think so. It would be dump to remove a unique as a drop but still allow it to be chanced, what would be the point in doing that? Standard Forever

" Sorry buddy, i'm saying the truth. Path of exile IS a video game. Standard : BratalUss

" you opinion "its a video game" applies to those grind/pay for it and wont want it nerfed too. This is not about killing (I have no Kaom and never dream of it) but just about fairness. and for the good love of long terms new players happiness (thats why ggg decided to do something for it, right?), please donot let those legacy items stay and keep wrecking havoc in the forum, in the trade chat, and in the game at all. |

" Oh, build enablers are rarely OP, and to clarify, Shav is not really a build enabler. After the shitstorm induced by next round of unique rebalancing I guess devs will be more careful. And that's not saying uniques will suddenly get boring, look at BoR, it's a fun, masterfully balanced item, powerful, yes, but not for everybody's grandma. And Lioneyes does have a wee drawback of sorts, reflected damage also can't miss when using it, too bad you can offset it just by taking IR. And that thing should get some sort of a drawback and not the sort of crap afterthought drawback like 'dexterity has no effect' that severs even that tiny link the node had with that part of the tree. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs. ◄[www.moddb.com/mods/balancedux]► ◄[www.moddb.com/mods/one-vision1]► Last edited by raics#7540 on Sep 23, 2013, 8:02:35 AM

" The best for the game long term is to keep the most activ players in the game, meaning not upsetting them by nerfing the reason why they grind for months and months. That's not very hard to get, isnt it ? Basically, to keep those players activ, GGG should ( this is not my opinion ) release even better unique, so new reasons to grind. We can imagine that's the main reason why Soul Taker exist, if there is any rationnal behind this. ( I don't think so but ... ). A grinding game is all about reward. Either gear or level. Basically gear today considering game content, even if we can level through maps. IGN TylordRampage Last edited by Malone#6946 on Sep 23, 2013, 8:06:35 AM

" When was I arguing with you about that? lol I thought Path of Exile was an mixed martial arts instructional dvd. My bad. Standard Forever

" That sounds like horrible game design. I really have no sympathy for people who don't care about the health of the overall game. Standard Forever

" its not nerf, its balancing the game, its correcting the previous mistakes, its about making it fair for everybody, its about health of the game on the long run. Yea, the health of the game matters more than some minority having already overpowered items that unbalance the game, Yea, balance those items and yea, don't hear the subjective cries of the op minority owners. Because those cries are wrong and are not objective and are bad for the game. Because what matters in the long run is how fair, how healthy the game is. Having multiple versions of op uniques certainly makes for an unatractive game, a ill game etc. " Consequences? what consequences? That the game will be balanced and healthy? That some small minority subjectively cries over their unbalanced op items? Yea, sure. Anytime. " i certainly hope not. I wont detail, its obvious why. |
