What's happening when Anarchy/Onslaught leagues end?

The most fun is to pursuit for the great uniques not actually having them.

Journey is the goal.

Was dreaming about the game where developers thinking how to make mobs harder to beat, rather than making players stronger and stronger..

GGG should take the opportunity with the new content to create new affixe with new content.
Would Shav be still op if we can find rare chest with 1200 ES to do some 70+ A3 area ?
Would Kaom be still op if we can find rare chest with 130 hp and 55 % 3res ?
Would Soul Taker still op if we can find rare weapon with 500 dps ?

Shav isn't OP, it's the ability to run RF constantly, and as long as that interactions stays in game, ~200 extra ES compared to the current affixes won't change anything.
Kaom's Heart would still be OP, because 21 extra hp aren't that big and higher resistances are unnecessary because everybody already caps them, even with lower res rolls.
And there actually is already a 1h axe with more than 500 physical dps, but only one. Higher numbers won't make it easier to roll such insane weapons, they will be rarer than mirrors.
Power creep isn't the answer, balancing is.

Funny to read "healthy game". A healthy grinding game doesnt have any gear nerf at all. Something is really broken there. I would be glad to read Chris comment on why they need to nerf unique. Releasing unique and nerfing them months later seems to me completely broken.

You are playing a beta, they can (and imo should) take the chance to balance broken things at release next month. No hiding behind a "beta"-tag after that.

because like i said ggg is not some perfect god that makes only perfect decisions.
thay were wrong with op uniques and cris admited it in a very long thread about lioneye where he stated that he;s sorry for not "correcting" the bow before open beta.
ya, they 100% were wrong with those unique items.
Luckily, the correction is easy to be made. But unfortunately ggg is a scared little girl that is beyond terrified to do the only right action: correct ALL op unique, including those already existing.

Thanks a lot for the news. Excited about the new leagues. I'm very curious about something and this seems like a good place to ask; hopefully I will get a reply here. Are there any plans to reset the standard and hardcore leagues? Or will the came simply continue from beta using the same hardcore and standard economy and ladder?

It seems to me that keeping the same economy and ladder would discourage new players or inactive players from fully embracing the game outside the new 4 month leagues. They would be very far behind the beta players. Most games completely separate their beta and full releases. What are your plans here? Thanks a lot for reading.
Life definitely needs a buff, and I would bet my money that they know this and are saving it for release.

Unique items that were prevented from spawning in the challenge leagues (for example, Kaom's Heart) will continue to spawn, but they (or other Uniques) may be rebalanced at Release.

Inb4 kaoms nerf at release ... its very obvious yet subtle hint right there

The tabs will always be there. You won't be able to add anything to those tabs. Once you remove everything from a tab it will disappear.

This is just bad. None of this content is worthy of removal, and most are actually exceedingly well balanced and designed. What is the reasoning for removing these, or only "potentially" removing them? I don't exactly see the harm is allowing them to drop and be used in perpetuity.


I agree.

Also, I would prefer an 80% or 120% rate of rogue exiles appearance relative to anarchy league. Please GGG, rogues are fun, especially if you could find them. I remember I only fought one rogue exile in my 31 levels in anarchy.

So, whats the point in playing if the end game uniques are only mediocre and I dont have anything to farm towards anymore? Try out skills I already tested ages ago just to find out that they are still bad?

Rebalancing items, probably the most horrible idea you ever had. Guess you gave into the whining once again. Cant say I am surprised.
