You need to get back to your original thinking guys... you wanted FFA loot because you wanted that hardcore edge in the game. Now i can understand the ability to choose perma/short/FFA loot for rares, uniques and high end currency items but anything else should be fair game.
Even in a perma loot group 6S, 5L and 4L non rares should be FFA. Also scrolls and low level currencies like scraps, transmutes, chromes, glassblowers and alterations should be FFA as well. Almost every docks run i do finishes with about 50 wisdom and portal scrolls all over the ground that i would more than happily fight for. Keep the high end loot allocation to rares and currencies of jewellers value and higher. Also i agree that the exp penalty would be better as 5% and 10%. 15% is too easy to get back and when level 90 players have maps that match their level they too will find it easy to get back. Sigh... of all the discussions on these boards, you decided to fold under casuals pressure and just flat reduce it? There were way more useful ideas if you were considering changing the penalty this is just...
Another bandaid 'solution' to qq, cut it in half why? What does it actually achieve? I'm sorry but this is plain stupid. |

instead of this add a new currency item which can be used to escape the death penalty. The higher the lvl the more units of this new currency you need.
