Death Penalty Changes in 0.11.3
How about leaving the exp penalty as it is now, but add in Titan Quest's way of handling death penalty? Once you die you leave a "tomb stone" in that spot. If you're able to recover it you gain a portion of the lost exp back. I think it would be perfect.

If you playing as a ranger, you wont get any 6S because a melee will take it. With this patch, ranger get a chance to take a 6S in party. Thanks you ggg

If you want to make softcore easier please disable coming back in boss fights from portals when you die. This has always been the most careless design of this game for me and the reason i never played softcore with my friends again.

Might as well remove the death penalty. It's not like people who play on scrubcore have any dignity left.

I never minded loosing 15% for my stupid mistakes. Makes you learn not to afk on a waypoint, and a host of other stupid lazy stuff...

Not sure i like this change. The death penalty is part of what makes this game hard and a challenge. Typically when i die i rage log and come back the next day more determined to play better and smarter.
What i would REALLY like to see is a different death penalty for hardcore. I would like to play in that league but lag, desincs, and bullshit deaths are a very real occurrence in POE that prevent me from doing so. Perhaps an extremely harsh exp penalty (like 25% of total exp) would suffice for giving those players the challenge they're looking for without the need to alt+f4 every other day. |

No opinion for this change since I only play HC and delete char after death.
But its good to see the dev really care about players feedback. |
