Unique Item List - 300 of 419

While Rashkaldor's Patience can really be seen as a poor man's The Taming, it still is really good for elemental buzzsaw-like builds (high attack speed + offensive auras/buffs as a damage payload) that want to reliably proc shocks for a noticeable DPS boost, to which end both extra chance and duration greatly contribute to: consider the point cost of getting those two stats on a tree, and damage returns per point investment, and you'll see how good it is. It's also a really good amulet for Flameblast, Explosive Arrow, and other ignite prolif builds, at least if you aren't going the block road with The Anvil/Stone of Lazhwar. The downside to a build that never even needed PCs in the first place is non-existent.

Greed's Embrace sucks because it's going to be the be-all end-all chestpiece for culler builds, which brings us to lack of diversity again (man, GGG do love to come full circle on these things, don't they?). Since those stay far in the back and never need much defense in the first place (or, in case with Dominus runs, basically only come in to place a finishing blow), the downsides can be completely ignored.

Warped Timepiece is interesting. It doesn't look like a build enabler per se, but I'm sure it might be able to help sustaining mana on builds that can neither sacrifice slots for Thief's Torment nor willing to take advantage of EB or Blood Magic.

Black Sun Crest is genuinely intriguing because it looks like it has a lot of potential that can be unleashed in the right build (Iron Will?).
<Tyrfalger> Exactly, the next act is going outside Sarn and into those wheat fields (see the map) to become a farmer. Then we can spend our days endlessly farming. Wait a minute...

Seems, that only vendor fodder amulets in this batch... Chris The Plagiarist strikes back anyway, The Flavor of Time is going to Wraeclast :)

Vendor food for you but the amulet looks great to me.

I was expecting more from those uniques tbh...

temporal chains + that equal freeze lock bosses?

There's already 60% inc freeze duration available on the tree. Not too sure this amu will make that big of a difference.

Also curses only work at 30% efficiency vs bosses.

This isn't exactly accurate. It's close to accurate for Act bosses, but is never accurate for Map bosses.

Act bosses get 70% reduced curse effectiveness.
Map bosses get 60% reduced curse effectiveness.

This stacks additively with curse effectiveness on the tree. If you have +60% increased curse effectiveness (which is impossible even with Dying Breath and a max quality curse on hit, but let's not care about that), your curses will work exact as the gem says on, say, Atziri. This would hypothetically make the total 100/160 = 62.5% efficiency when compared to values on regular mobs.
Greed's Embrace is not BIS, I don't see why people are complaining.

Shav + wondertrap +100% rarity

Greed's embrace cost you a lot of rarity in trade for quantity with the penalty of negative res and significantly slower speed. It also gives a cheaper option in new leagues for people trying to start mfing and for those who run life builds. It also frees up the boot slot.

Perks to both I guess.

It is BiS... for mf cullers that don't care about the downsides of any item they wear.
It is not BiS... for all solo players which GGG doesn't consider to exist.

The trade-offs are sensible when you are the only person fighting the enemies. The game is not designed around solo play. That will become exceedingly noticeable when you just want to buy one for use in solo play, but the cost is set by people wanting to use it for party play.

IIR can easily attain high value's, iiq however cant. So greeds + iiq boots will be the favorite in the new league, no mater how you twist it. sacrificing 50% iir for 29%iiq is a no brainer, then add in the fact you don't have to be low life for it's effect's makes it even more of a null exercise.

Then factor in we have skills that don't rely on movement speed to move and you get into the realm of
"why the fuck should i go low life for mf".

That is obviously, if you have a party and are culling for them.

This chest is yet another BiS that involves 0 thought for a dedicated mf'er to utilize.

And this is just based on the numbers of the greeds that was found now, if the stats are 50/15 on a perfect, the no choice became even less of a choice.

Right, let's say you got 200% rarity on other gear. So, if you go for shav and wondertrap you will have 300% rarity which means you will see four times as much rares and uniques.

However, if we use this new chaest and goldwyrms instead it will be (assuming it can roll 15% quantity and 50% rarity):

(1 + 2,5) * (1 + 0,35) = 4,72

Which means you will get 4,72 times more rares and uniques plus 35% more other items, which is nothing to sneeze at.

So yeah, Greed and Goldwyrms blow Shav and Wondertrap clean out of the water. And that's for very conservative 200% other rarity, the more you stack the better this new combo will be.

...
By the way, I want 3D art for Greed, shiny :)
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

goldwyrm were already really good compared to wondertrap. with the addition of half the iir from wondertrap AND the extra iiq... yeah.......
