Of course it is, The Taming bonus stacks with 'increased damage' bonuses on you.

... which makes it not as hot as it looks, I'd kinda like to see two of those on crit puncture build, some elemental damage on your attacks would boost bleeding considerably, that one is kinda hard to increase other than with dot nodes.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

They don't apply to different entities. They're both applying to the buff on you provided by the aura. Coming from different sources doesn't matter, just what they apply to - similarly, "you take increased damage" on yourself stacks additively with "enemies take increased damage" applied to you by an opponent, because both apply to damage taken (which is, as you point out, distinct from "increased damage" which applies to damage dealt and is before, rather than after, mitigation).

Yes, I can see logic in it working like that, thanks for the insight.
It's kinda much more obvious in case of "you take increased damage" on yourself and being cursed with "enemies take increased damage", both increases are 'on you' after all but in case of buff effect stacking increases are on different entities but apply to the same effect. I probably worded it poorly as an exception, it's just not so obvious.

The Taming is mostly a wording problem, it had to have 'on enemy' mentioned in that line and that makes it a bit vague on the fact the ring actually increases damage you deal to afflicted enemy, not the damage it takes. It would be much more clearly worded as 'increases your damage to enemies affected by Freeze, Shock and Ignite by 10% per effect', but I guess it sounds considerably less elegant and there's just no more space in that line of text anyway :)

Not sure if this was discussed but what happens when you use the new ring with Voll's Protector? Which happens first, the loss of the power charges or the gain of the power charges?
