" I must sperg out and mention that the Dusk Crown Ring grants more Spell uses in return. You're thinking of the Calamity ring that doubles damage taken with zero benefit :P Calamity also drops far too late in the game to be a relevant challenge run item, whereas the DCR can be acquired super early and has roughly but not exactly the same effect (armour is ~flat DR, so taking 2x damage reduces armour effectiveness; halving HP does not). (you think I know much of Path of Exile? HEH) All done. Back to Uniques. Daresso's Courage has something against Spells (120% to Spell Block on Low Life) :D Does require you to go suicidal however, which is less than optimal. |

my amulet is getting flamed to hell
it used to have a 300% multiplier, but the problem is that the bosses were getting one-shot. Dominus and Brutus called nerf on it so it got half the multiplier, and less than half the crit. please sell it to me for an alchemy (Nemesis) or a chaos (Hardcore) :D Thanks cheers I need more purple titles

Bosses getting one shot was the reason it got nerfed? Really? The thing is, any build that could have one shot bosses with it probably had enough multiplier to kill them in two.
I don't know, I hope you find the amulet to your liking. It just seems in it's current incarnation there is almost no upside to the amulet, all downside. |

" I really like the art of your unique and the flavor text. Who wrote that I have to ask. The problem is too heavy downsides. I would understand those downsides if multiplier would be 300%. But your unique almost only good thing was halved in power, when downsides staied same. Was the 60% less critical chance in item already when there was also 300% multiplier? Almost non-damaging no-crit attacks and 60 less critical chance are too heavy downsides for unique like that. Only good part is that 150% multiplier, and good amulet can have even 1/2 of that. 200% multiplier atleast, then it could have been playable with downsides. |

If it was 300% multiplier I would totally use that amulet! But 140% isn't a big difference from my 68% multiplier amulet, which gives bonus physical damage and accuracy too.

Used to have a 50% cap on crit on the first iteration, but 300% was too strong according to testing, so it was reduced.
The original idea was to deal damage on crit only, but the no damage "feeling" was too weird (like squeezing a sponge). It was then upped to deal 75% less, then the multipier was halved. I need more purple titles

" THIS! I agree 100% with the fact that the mulitplier is too low. Just as you say, 150% for all of those downsides? You can get 70% mult on a good amulet with almost any other status stats and it would be better than your amulet due to the downsides. I understand uniques aren't meant to be end-game material necessarily... but this thing is kind of useless. I read you saying 300% was too op and that's fine, but at 150% mult it just needs something else (resists or life) etc. I love the design and concept though :D! Really nice :p Somebody should 20% the sword and see if it gets phys damage (like Stormcloud used to (or does, if it was never changed)) But now I'm pretty interested actually in doing some kind of abyssus + your necklace type build and trying to max out damage.
