After almost a year and a half of work from Rory, Erik and I; it is damn rewarding to see it in the wild.

Hope its well received and doesn't end up costing more than I will be able to afford!

If anyone gets it and wants to trade for it, I have 100+ stash tabs of things I'm willing to part with for it. Aegis Aurora, almost perfect maligaro's, etc etc. Just be nice to own my unique. :) (PM me, don't clog thread with it though)

the only thing i dont get on the new unique chest is why doesnt it have anything against spells? its so hard to get something against spells as dodge/evasion.only spell block what can only be obtained from shitty uniques (not including rainbowstrides) or from the left side of the skilltree=no evasion

It's a matter of the limit to the amount of mods on an item. The programmers are trying to keep the number of mods on an item down, there doesn't appear to be a specific number per se but they don't want to let the items get so complicated that they cause performance issues as well. One of the earlier variations of the chest actually caused severe issues when combined with de-sync.

There really isn't a mod outside of the primary effect that I could see as expendable and also keep in mind that they do not want unique items to exceed the best rare/yellow items. It can't be everything but it can enable a specific style of playing. This is also why it went from being a purely evasion tunic to armor/evasion - Daresso's Courage is an Armor/Evasion shield which would clearly indicate that is his choice of defense lore-wise.

When Acrobatics was changed to allow for some benefits from armor, I let Rory know we might be better off switching it to Full Dragonscale instead in order to stick to the lore side a bit closer than we were at the time. I now have 6 stash tabs of Exquisite Leathers that I accumulated over time that are worthless but nonetheless I'm much happier with the item as it matches Daresso's defensive style now.
