Can you not potentially get more than 3% from Purity of Fire if you grab aura buff nodes?

For those interested I've updated some items on the wiki:
Doedre's Elixir
Doon Cuebiyari
Prismatic Eclipse
I've updated Rebuke of the Vaal for the silent 1.0.0 update.
Once someone finds the 4th 1.0.1 unique, I'll add that too.
Also, here's the alternate artwork for a full Divination Distillate. If you look closely, you can see a cameo face in the orange liquid. Pretty badass.

Easier to see in the split image:
Great work as always, thanks FaceLicker.

you should be able to unless ggg is smart enough to cap the max resist instead of it allowing to scale with aura% and alphas.

Well...
75% base, 3% from purity of fire, 2% from adaptation, 8% from phoenix, you're looking at 88% damage reduction, with an as close to 100% uptime as possible of Ruby Flasks (use two and make them crit-friendly?) you're at 98% fire resistance.
Now getting Es with Shav's and Phoenix might be a bit of an issue. But you can get the resists to be basically fire immune. Probably combine with something that deals considerable fire damage, possibly AoF+Infernal Blow but that's an entirely different point of interest. Note that is just to trivialize reflected damage.
Relying on Ruby flasks constantly is a little questionable to me, lets try do some math.
4% From Shavronne's Ring
(Possible)1% From Heart of Oak (Ranger, Possible by going through projectile speed/damage. You could do it, Maybe..)
Fire res : 75 + 8 + 3 + 2 = 88, But you have to get Elemental adaptation, which *probably* has nothing of use for you beside it.
70 x 0.12 = 8.4 Plus any degeration from your hp pool.
If your confident in being able to keep Ruby Flasks up, then maybe, but i dont think it would work in a group. Plus, you dont have any ability to regenerate mana thanks to Shavronne's Ring.
You would basically NEED blood dance. But then you lose even more ES.
Its so sketchy D:

Constant ruby uptime is debatable both ways. In a full crit wand or dagger build you can achieve pretty much 100% crit chance given the effort. Roll a couple surgeon's rubies... Well I manage 100% granite uptime with surgeon's already with ~40% crit chance. Rubies won't be that much harder.
Also... From ZO there's a 4 point investiture to get Adaptation. whether there's other things you want nearby or not that's a damn good deal because you want adaptation that much.

1.0.1 uniques look really fun. I dislike the obvious idea behind the Scepter's stats but it will open up a lot of build possibilities.

That new helm opens up a TON of way to abuse pretty much everything!
Spell crit, which has much biggers amounts can now apply to attacks, same for crit multiplier. Spell damage too (obviously) and cast speed. But the craziest one might very well be pain attunement and righteous fire.

No. spell crit and spell crit multiplier are not modifiers to spell damage.
Spell damage is a stat that exists. It is not a group of stats.
