Yes but it says 1% increased damage per 8 strength when in main hand. Not increased spell damage, just pure damage. That means that it could very well also be increased burning damage, which affects Searing Bond. As far as I know, there are no increased damage modifiers that can affect Viper Strike at all.

Well, until someone tries out the sceptre with searing bond, we'll never know.

You're right about that circlet though, wtf is that shit.

I would be suprised if it didnt. If Righteous Fire works, which im pretty darn sure it will, Pain attunement should as well.


E: Im going off my experience with fire trap/bear trap and dual totem - Secondary damage works past the "No damage with skills" thing, im fairly certain Searing Totem works past The Goddess Scourned "No damage with anything but this weapon" As well. Bear trap despite being secondary seems to scale normally past spell damage not working, but it just gives me the impression that searing bond might not.

Someone needs to test this.

Double E: I dont think the circlet works with Spell Crit, if it does its even more insane then i thought.

It specifies only spell damage, so spell crit will probably be left not effecting your attacks.

I personally build my "attack builds" around armor - and also prefer to take defensive nodes over offensive. This for end game mapping survivability.

However - this mainly cause I solo.

When it comes to ES building with this using RF - you need shavronnes for that. Otherwise I dont see the point of investing tons of passives to spell damage over physical attack damage.

The "low" ES of shavronnes and this helmet combined would need you to have an Insane shield with tons of ES to justify the use of this combo.

Looks abit like someones been watching Etup's claw build stream in Onslaught.

Shavronnes Righeous fire sounds.... Like a horrible idea after 1.0.0?

Righteous fire eats 70% of your ES and 90% of your life per second. You can only reasonably stack regen in life OR ES. Did you not know they changed Righteous Fire? Or am i completely missing what your saying?

Cast on Crit spell damage dagger build with taht crown. Or spell damage wand build. Soesn't matter. Either way crazy weapon and spell damages.

Righteous fire totally optional, but not required.
