Monster Accuracy and Evasion changes in 0.11.2

Why does the chance to hit have to decrease the higher my character is levelled? Does this make any sense? I am supposed to get better and not worse, ain't I?

Also please fix the bug that people can lower the reserved amount of mana by shortly equipping Alpha's Howl.

And I would really appreciate an option to switch off skill effects. They are killing my gpu.

For the sake of balancing Evasion/Accuracy, GGG could rethink "Always/Never Hits" from all sources and consider making them, for instance:

Resolute Technique
>> FROM Always Hits, Never Crits
>> TO +100% Accuracy Rating, -100% Global Critical Chance and -50% Global Critical Damage.

What do you say?

-100% global critical chance would make it 0% chance to crit. also isn't there a hit cap without resolute technique?

Oh then I meant -100% Critical Chance (non-global). I thought "Global" simply referred to any skill/attack/spell used by the player. Which would mean in this case that any spell/skill/attack with a 18% chance to crit would have 9% chance to crit (-100%).

There is a Hit cap of 95% AFAIK. The +100% Accuracy is not certain to grant an all-around 95% chance to hit every enemy though, which is just fine otherwise it would be OP. It's still a huge buff to those who don't care much about crits, anyway (and likely to economize many Accuracy passive points and/or gear budget to many people).

EDIT: Resolute Technique currently shows 100% chance to hit on my character screen who has RT so it's an exception to the 95% hit cap rule.

That's also why I think "Always/Never" is too powerful and hard to balance Evasion/Accuracy around.

The problem about acrobatics characters is that some attacks can't be avoided, like charges and brutus attack, yes you can manually avoid them, but a little desync or a mistake and you can go down really fast.

No, it is not powerful, it gives ~10-20% of DPS and it's so much only on low dex character with no accuracy on gear.

Again, there is no need to "nerf" RT as it has suitable drawback. As with IR, RT seems to be OP but not because it has no suitable drawback but because alternatives, it means accuracy, are weak at the moment.

I have two "accuracy characters" - ranger and wander. On ranger, I specced into 6 accuracy nodes and have a lot of dex. On wander, I took two small accuracy nodes and have very little dex, just to be able to use LMP and Grace (and the latter I'm able to use only because I have Atziri Foible). But chance to hit on those two characters are almost identical.

And strength characters are not meant to be crit hitters - find some Mark post about it.

It is not a accident, that RT is located on far left side of tree, near templar and marauders areas and best crit nodes are located on right, near by witch and shadow area...

If problems with accuracy will be solved and RT will have viable alternatives it will be probably much less used that at the moment.

I think that there is too much "drawback obssesion" and "nerf greed" on those forums recently...
Anticipation slowly dissipates...

Nice change,

in my opinion characters with an accuracy build should to reach the cap of 100%, not 95%,

and it should to be easier to reach the cap than now.

Personally, I'm not worried as much about getting hit *often* as I am about getting hit *REALLY HARD* when I do take a particularly powerful blow. Probably still IR for me. :)
