Devs Please lock post as giveaway is over and things are getting silly.

My idea is basically like a free market and the microtransaction would be an cosmetic effect for your store.

Other games like mmo's sometimes have the ability to have a store to sell your items in and it makes the buying/selling experience a lot more fun because you physically go visit with your character (like maplestory). Now I realize this could be considered pay to win but I think everyone should get a free seller's permit and maybe a microtransaction could be an independent merchant or a way to make your store stand out such as a cosmetic effect. Things like that; to me it would make the game a lot more interesting because there are times you might get on the game simply to go look for a "good deal"; rather than now where you just watch trade chat spam it's a bit monotonous.
1. microtransaction for pvp only, that would allow the player to take on the skin of a monster. Obviously, in a pve environment this would be to confusing to work, and there would only be certain enemies that could be applied.
But, how cool would it be to take on the skin of a skeleton or a skeleton archer while you are pvp'ing against someone. The character would maintain all of his gear/stats but visually he would be a skeleton, or zombie, or some other human shape monster wielding his regular weapon in hand. fun fun fun.
Maybe could even work with certain boss skins.

2. a microtransaction that would give the templar some pants!
nothing outrageous or against the visual vibe of the game. I love the way the characters look, but sometimes when im running around slaughtering stuff i think to myself.. golly i wish my toon had some pants on. :)

3. Audio overlays that would alter your own characters voice, or perhaps even implement new and exciting things for him/her to say while in certain situations. With the depth and level of customization this game offers, i think it would be exciting to extend that feeling of customization all the way to your characters in game voice. Going even further, would it be possible to record your own voice saying certain phrases, so that EVERY character in the game had his/her unique audio.
The first hindrance that comes to mind is people trying to take advantage by using profanity or other unacceptable audio, but i think a good way around that is: GGG could come up with the list of things people are allowed to say ( you could even have a massive online poll determining the catchphrases ! ) and then, after purchase of the microtransaction, it would have to be approved by the devs before implementation. I know this one maybe to far fetched, but it would be so frickin cool to record your own voice for your character saying general things in the spirit of the game!

Thanks.
do what you want to the girl, but leave me alone.
I would like to see vision effects that you can apply to your helmet that would affect the way the game looks for you but not for others in your party. Examples:

1) X-ray vision. Makes bears into skeletal bears, archers into skeletal archers, soldiers into skeletal soldiers.
2) Rose-colored vision. Gives the game a rosy tint.
3) Evil eye. Would reskin the HUD, menus, and inventory screen to be made from bones and skulls and demons.
4) Shamanic vision. Would reskin the menus to be covered with vines and moss.
5) Spirit vision. Enemies appear ghostly, like raised specters.

This would open up a new design vector for microtransactions that don't affect gameplay but are thematically really cool. Putting the effect on helmets is also an interesting way of enabling reskinned menus, making it so reskinning them has more flavor than just toggling an option somewhere.

Rain of arrows -> Rain of swords please.
Vanity Everything

Armor.
Helm.
Boots.
Pants.

I myself dont really like most the style of the gear available ingame, I don't like how my shav looks, I don't like that the last patch encaged my witches head on a birdcage. Also most toon would benefit from some sort of full body armour (cause 80 YO templars knees aren't that sexy really).

I would totally pay for a cosmetic feature like this.

here go a few... some I have posted before.

Spell effects:

Blade of blood - Freezing pulse. Turn it to a red blade of blood rather than ice.

Black Bolt Arc - A dark bolt rather than the bright one.

Dragon Ice Spear: The spears start as a dragon with its wings back and mouth closed, when it transforms to the high crit spear the dragon opens up its wings and mouth.

Thorny Vines - Bear Trap. Replace the trap animation with green thorny vines that reach up from the ground.

Pets:

Bad-ass Wolf pet and variations of said wolf, such as: Skeletal Wolf, Black demon wolf with shadowy particle effect and red glowing eyes, ghostly wolf.

Armor effects:

Helmet effect - Skull head/mask changes your helmet into a bare bone skull helmet or mask, perhaps with glowing eyes.

Belt effect - Tails, demon tail (great pairing with demon horns), monkey tail (for the DBZ fans), and fox-like tail (for the furries)

Armor: Dragon wings, Angel Wings, Demon wings and Boney wings.

Weapon effect:

This is probably difficult to create but would be awesome. Rather than having to make a new weapon type for these items:

2 Handed Axes - Glaives. Changes a 2H Axe to appear as a glaive, or other bladed pole arm.

1 Handed Mace - Flail. Change a simple mace into a ball and chain style flail.

my favorite (toughest to do because of skill animations?)
Bow - Throwing knives. You would still equip a bow and quiver but you would now throw blades and skills would work just the same, only appear to be throwing a blade instead... Rain of Knives anyone?

I can see your / Back is turned and / If I could I'd / Stick my knife in.

We've already got cosmetic items for helm and weapon and whatnot, but I think full cosmetic outfits would be nice as well.

Sort of like those children books where you can change the head/torso/legs to create a ton of different looks (e.g. an elephant's head, monkey torso, snake bottom).

So the cosmetic outfits could be something like:

Pick a hat/helmet from a set of option.
Pick a shirt/blouse/etc. from a set of torso options.
Pick a (oh boy finally!) pair of pants/skirt/dress/etc. for legs.

It would be nice if the options enabled people (who wanted to) to pick specific "costumes" like pirate or bar wench, but it'd keep everybody from running around looking like it's Halloween because you could also just have a nice looking outfit that isn't a particular "costume."

The cosmetic items would take place of the armor which is not always entirely flattering, but the stats of the armor would still be applied. Perhaps for those who PvP (though I'm not sure how large that community is), the cosmetic effects could be removed during PvP so that people can get an idea of what their foes are wearing.

A Freezing Pulse microtransaction.

Snake of Frost: a giant snake with horns like the Arabian Horned Viper (Cerastes), and it would look like ice, with that transparent look, then, when u use LMP/GMP, the other "projectiles/snakes" would come off the head of the main one in the middle of the cast, even a snake sound could be implemented.
Tuatara Mini Pet that auto collects gems and orbs and deposits them into your inventory when solo or in permaloot parties.

Varients could also be flying ones that fly around behind you and land to grab loot.

Thinking in keeping with our Proud NZ developed game you could use the endangered

1. Kererū ( NZ Wood Pigeon )

2. New Zealand Fairy Tern

Population: 35-40

Found: Lower half of Northland Peninsula, North Auckland beaches

Threats: Habitat loss and predation by rats, cats, dogs

The tiny, gutsy bird was thought to be disappearing when it dropped to 10 individuals - three or four capable of breeding - in 1983.

But the Wildlife Service, then the Department of Conservation intervened and the species recovered to around 40 individuals in 2008.

The fairy tern remains nationally critical, but there are some signs of hope - the likelihood of its extinction within 50 years has been lowered from 52 per cent to 39 per cent.

3. Kakapo

Population: 124

Found: Codfish Island (near Stewart Island) and Anchor Island (Fiordland)

Threats: Habitat loss and predation by rats, cats, and stoats

The flightless "parrot of the night" was once plentiful and with few natural predators it began nesting at ground level. This made it vulnerable to introduced predators and it is now nationally critical.

Now the large, long-living bird can only survive on island sanctuaries. The remaining kakapo produced just 11 chicks last year. But the charismatic, much-loved bird receives some of the most intense protective measures, with DoC investing $800,000 into its recovery every year. It also enjoys a high profile due to a star advocate called Sirocco and corporate backers such as mining company Rio Tinto.
