" I couldn't believe it myself. What most people don't know is that GGG dev who designs effects (sorry, don't remember the name) politely called the idea of wings "tacky", in a suggestion thread posted some weeks before the contest. He didn't like the idea of creating wings at all as it is a fantasy item which does not fit the real of Wraeclast. 1000$ for the "winning" idea which will never be implemented because it's tacky and doesn't fit the game mood? Heck, you even learn that when you start out with PHIL 101. The sad thing is that some people just offered a one or two word idea, but at least I went into detail as far as how to create a synergy with a simple idea to add to the shock-and-awe effect of current micro transactions... eh, oh, well... but, I do think there were much better ideas than 'wings'; however, I was the first person to offer the idea to begin with, and the whole point is why have a contest if people just win by copying others? Please let the guy enjoy his prize, he won fair and square. Wings? why not, we already have demons horns . Plus, fiery wings or icy wings could be very cool. The giveaway was mostly a fantasy game, so even if said winner idea would not be implemented, the idea itself could still be liked. Also even if some idea came first, maybe his idea are better put/wrote and carefuly explained. Anyway The mini brutus is also a great idea i would want to buy.
