Alternatively u can "a" select the corpse and detonate dead. Its an annoying process but the added dps can really increase your farm speed.

possibly dropping the 3 center es nodes for inner force

Are you leveling as ES or are you leveling with health nodes and switching over later? I want to try this build but not sure what type of build to use for leveling

I suggest not to play summoner as your first character. It has the slowest start of any build but one of the strongest mid/end game. It picks up speed once u get MI.

am rolling this character on anarchy and getting some support gems along the way

I have a marauder I can use for currency if I need to, still curious about how to level as a CI summoner. Are you going ES the whole leveling process or getting HP nodes while you level? I leveled my summoner in default with the stuff I found on a level 50ish marauder and although it was slow at first it was still pretty easy. That was an EB/HP build though :)

Am planning to go CI once I hit 2k es. Am not going to grab any hp nodes, I did a hp/eb summoner all the way till 85. Time to try something new =).

i lvled without life nodes. in act2 merciless (lvl5x) i had something like 4xx life and 1,5k es. i put in CI include the es nodes after that. put in a ephemeral edge and endet up with something like 2,3 or 2,4k es. and it worked fine.

atm (lvl65) im fine in docks with my 2,6k es (with discipline) and lvl a bit.

in the beginning i go fast for MI (respect few points later).... got some minion nodes.... got some ES nodes..... got IR ... finally CI.

now i watch for better gear to run more auras (atm i only have clarity/purity/discipline).

i started just fine as summoner on anarchy, myself. just use frost pulse, firestorm, or ice nova and blast away with minion support. here's a starter path that results in a little extra firepower for your casting while gunning straight for MI. from there you can flesh out minion nodes, focusing on damage ones first.

it's admittedly slower than other builds at the start, but ice nova is a great way to manage pretty much everything but oak (you may have to use portals a few times on some harder bosses like piety). but there's no real difference between most summoners 1-70 as a first character or one supported by gear... it's just a few extra gems that are nice. (i made a dummy templar to get anger and a few extra int gems, didn't take long)

to me i'd rather make a summoner first since they don't take much to run well (at least non-ci ones), and use that character to support something else that's more gear/gem dependent. i'm looking forward to blasting through early content on a twinked out something-or-other :)

I think you are gimping yourself not using the right spectres + setup.

I made a video (my first ever) to demonstrate how effective spectres can be.

I made it on my laptop and it clearly couldn't handle it. But if you can get past that you'll see what is IMO the most effective spectres in the game by far.

You took that video with such a huge fps drop that I can't even tell what you used lol.

for the beginning u want to go straight for MI after u get to deep wisdom through the top side[than respec later]. MI should help your clear speed considerably from there spread out minion and es nodes and grab IR sometime in the future. Finally grab CI once u obtained a reasonable amount of es. Minimum 1.5k i guess.

thought about tree some more and i noticed that the path to grave intentions seems really out of the way of all the other nodes.

if you don't mind losing 30% minion hp and 1 zombie/skele
