Summoners rejoice! We have another fun bug. Raising a mob from elreon's mission as a spectre seems to leave them with their skills intact (raise spectre and SRS). God, I wish now my summoner was intact and playable right now.

Am going to test this shit right now lol!

Just from initial observation from past spectre testing. The summons from the spectre prob is not supported by the support gems. In this case making that Necro cast faster with echo/fast cast and maybe even minion dmg is the best option.

You always have the option to grab IR and use grace instead of haste. Its not that many passive pts away from the core build. If I know there are charges/leapers I usually play it safe, enfeeble dart back and forth and generally dodge the hits. If I do get hit that pretty much triggers me to instantly hit my seething flasks and you should be good to go.

End game is all about surviving so I would rather use a rare helm with life on it =3.

For the chest piece I definitely don't recommand Cloak of Defiance. It sucks big time because you have to invest so much in mana/energy shield and it basically keeps you from having 2 additional auras which is to me more valuable than 40% mom. I've had pretty good results with lightning coil though.

For the weapon I really don't know. I don't have a +3fire so i can't test it but with empower it should adds a lot of dmg. Dying breath seems okay as it buffs pretty much everything you do. I hope matt has it all figured out.

Yes I agree. I came to that conclusion yesterday as I was looking at my pitiful 200-300 mana left over. CoD chest isn't viable after aura reservation nerf. Its too much of a gear/passive pt investment and a pain in the ass to maintain. So yes I have dropped MoM/CoD.

Am looking at other chests either rare, belly of the beast, or lightning coil. Of course Tabula rasa for that easy 6L =3. Eventually when Chris the rng God favors my fusing orbs I can 6Link a belly of the beast and lightning coil and try them out.

For weapons, am still using my searing touch 6L from some burning discharge build I was playing. It works quite well with empower am getting +4lvls atm. Ideally you'll want to try to craft a +1/+2 fire staff with cast speed.

I think am still far from maximizing my build. My SRS gem is lvl 16 and am missing some ideal pieces of gear.

I am using immortal call it comes to 8 seconds on non quality and non maxed out gems with 4 endurance charges. Allowed me to jump into mobs IC - convocation and wait for proximity bubbles to get up....

I thought about switching to something else and run some aura on life instead of using a midnight bargain.. but then id lose a good shield slot ( have to use prism guardian... doesnt seem to give that much es..) making my CoD less useful.
im at 900 unreserved mana and 3.5k life..

Im not sure if i can notice the dmg difference from the loss of hatred ( aura reservation nerf).. it sure sucks though.

SRS is great and all, but I just don't find it a big enough help to justify its use for dom anymore (I swear they ninja buffed him) I used to have no problem dropping him in any difficulty on a summoner now it takes me 4-5 tries, I ran back through with 4s flame sentinel's echo, gmp, minion damage for now (new league so 5-6L is hard to get) and they can pump out insane damage without dieing especially when you apply additional life leech, undead incinerators are more prone to dieing but when you give them them the same gems remove minion damage and add something to boost the burning damage done they can clear maps in really no time at all even 10 levels under without dieing, however this build does have me thinking and i'm looking into path's for it you can probably add in spectres and lose some damage on raging spirits and still come out ontop but then again even in ambush i never snapshotted and still did fine endgame XD

I just tried immortal call with increased duration gem. If I hold down the button I actually get a constant 1s uptime. So as long as your holding the button down your actually invincible to physical dmg lmao.

SRS does require links and gear to be really great. Try this for the new league. +2 minion helm
SRS + echo + Mstrike + meleephysical dmg/msplash for aoe. Fully optimized they can reach 800k dps which is quite ridiculous.

The problem am facing with spectre is at endgame bosses. They simply can't take stuff like Atziri Flameblast to the face and live(forget Atziri Spectre can't even survive the trio boss before Atziri lmao), or live under maligra's constant stream of fire rain. Or that 76 book boss. The book tornado skill. Generally high aoe high damage attacks/spells.

Life leach does help a ton thou.
