Started mapping with my Vis Mortis and level 21 Raise Zombie and good lord they plow through mobs now. I feel like my spectres aren't even doing anything!

I'm wondering whether it is better to run Grace or Discipline. Grace would keep the minions and myself alive longer, but we'd have to sacrifice item properties for +dex ones.
Do we just run discipline so we can run a lvl 20 (or 22 or 23) arctic armour? |

" Mana regen is part of it but the main reason I went discipline is because A. Discipline gives us more mana left over for MoM B. I don't have enough dex =) If your going to get the dex needed 154~ ish. Use haste instead, the move,atk,cast speed is a good dps increase. The faster you kill things the less of a need for defense. I imagine Alpha's Howl is not something that can really be incorporated into this build (I know it has been discussed before, but we're at 300+ pages now :p)? Like in a more cons than pros way. I had one drop the other day and I am not so sure if I want to sell it. Stronger auras and more mana as a result, but no ES (for even more mana), no life, no minion stuff. Not being frozen is nice, but the lack of any other res attributes is iffy, too. I can get a nice chunk of currency out of it, so that is also enticing.

has anyone followed this build for MF reasons? I wanted to go summoner for MF and started following this build, but now worried that what makes it viable is tons of life items/Cloak... which is going to make it very hard for me to equip rarity items and get away with it.

Even thou it does not have +mana or es you will actually have a positive gain in mana because of that 8% reduced reservation. Not being frozen is also a huge plus and +2 aura gems is great as well. I think I sold mine a while ago but I would drop 4ex and test it out again. My biggest gripe is that it does not have any +life but am sure I can make up for it on other gear. " As long as your not trying to MF high level maps you should be fine. Piety runs is doable with even 2k hp. " I'm mfing 416/164 with this build(well, maybe a bit different) for a quite long time, and it's ok to survive most maps, even 75+. Just don't let anyone freeze you) and avoid shield chargers and leap slammers. Maybe it's off top, but where does vid mortis drop? Is that Atziri drop only? Can it be chanced? |

I use alphha's howl and its amazing. Its an extra 8% mana reserve, which effectively means more mom, I use clarity/haste/determination with it so more and more mom and more attack/cast speed + movement speed (with buffs).
I dont have movement speed in boot but I get 34% movement speed from haste, arctic armor quality bonus, aura buffs and self buffs which is pretty good IMO. |
