Seems like minion overall tankiness is up with added leach, regen, and resists. - Probably still keeping vitality so I can stack regen on the minions. - Zombie config is going to look like: RZ + faster atk + mstrike + melee physical + msplash + minion life/ or another dps support - Bm config: RS + remote mine + increased area + minion damage + minion life - passive tree am still adjusting - probably going to utilize desecrate to get some corpses for the two new buff skills. " Am i missing something here? With this setup, i drop a mine, then detonate it. It lays a trap, but the trap doesnt raise the spectre? Cant get it to work.. Thanks for any help :) |

considering the gem changes, it seems 1.0.6 is a great buff for summoners.

" Yep. I was wrong about the possible nerf to raise zombie at higher gem levels. My combo of RZ (lvl 20) + Minion Life + Empower Lvl 2 in a +2 minion helm using Chober and Sidhe went from 8755 to 9935 max life. Can't seem to locate the block chance node for minions, and any new nodes for that matter.
First impression - probably won't change the build too much, if at all. Just need a couple of lvlups and 2 point respecs to get to 3% life leech and not lose any of minion stats that I have now. Was also thinking about using empower instead of splash, but no. With zombie damage leech will provide better numbers than regen, so splash wins over ~2k hp. I wonder if it will be possible to drop vitality and couple of mana nodes and get discipline. No loss of mana (for mana shield) and some more passive points to spend. Also, that new summoner helm. I guess I will have to get resists from something else, the bonuses are just to good to pass up. I like how they had the strenght of mind to add max mana to it, so EB builds won't lose to much from changing helms. " Thx. No luck then for me, as necro aegis never sounded particulary good to me, I'd rather my minions died than me. After thinking about all the changes it does look that ES 9 aura summoners were right all along. Thay get much more of a buff with these changes. Why did no one ask the question -- does the BM aura restore a BM's health? Considering 'damage done' applies to all sources, not just hits (life leech gem, for example). Or does degen not count as damage done, even though increased damage DOES apply?
