{3.2.0} Spectral Gods: [Life Based Spectre/Golem Hybrid Summoner | Clear Speed | End Game Bossing]

Hi guys I got 2 quick questions,

If i use a my 6l tabula rasa to summon spectres then change over to my 5l main chest piece is that ok? do I keep the 6l spectre?

Question 2 is, is a 6L carcass jack worth it for summoning spectre? for the increased dmg+aoe? I would mean i could drop the AOE gem if it works?

Thankyou and any response is apreciated.

Very nice guide Matthew great job.
It should work. As long as you slot raise spectre in the same exact location.

Carcass jack does not work. The increased dmg + aoe does not transfer to the minions. An item must say Gem in this item for it to apply to minions.

I see you are trying to use freeze mine. Wont EE effect the damage your zombies will do with hatred?

Freeze mines doesn't deal damage it does not trigger EE.

Torture Chamber Boss Fight
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xPo_bNbE04&feature=youtu.be

This boss is doable I did a very sloppy job fighting him, after watching my own fight I could have triggered freeze mines on the lightning totems, not get hit by the laser so early and conserve pots, and trigger EE for more damage. Generally this is a very tough fight. Expect to lose minions here.

*If any other summoner has tips vs this boss I would like to know I can't seem to fight him without losing minions. I have another torture chamber map so i'll upload a redo see if i can take him without losing anything.

hi everyone,

still making good progress but I'm still very unclear on the best way to buff minions.

i was watching matt's piety/dominus fights. especially in the dominus fight what I notice is that the zombies just don't look like they are taking that much damage.

i know you are spamming flasks, but if i watch the flask levels and zombie life when dominus does that lightning thing, i think i saw maybe 2 zombies lose, _maybe_ 1/2 their life.

i mean my main characters who go up against dominus suffer more than that, so what's the secret ?

resists are of very limited use against dominus. i have lots of 77/77/77 characters and his lightning attack decimates them.

i'm still missing something. unless that something is that they have a _LOT_ of life.

what are people typically getting for zombie life. is having a grasp really that important, because the price of the things is going through the roof...
Interesting, but is freeze really needed in such low lvl content? They die fast without it, on higher lvl maps I can see it being more helpful.

Using freeze mine consumes about as much time as applying two curses, provides more defence, but much less offence. Basicly it means one can drop enfeeble altogether, use just one curse depending on situation. Maybe I should try iy, despite of my laziness and being not really convinced. Had the same feeling about IR before I tried the build, and now I can't seem to start planing any new build without sthinking about going IR.

I run an ES/shavs full MF build focusing on BM's. Currently running 70-74 maps without any trouble aside from some of the harder bosses like piety in temple. The only thing i'm missing in this build is some survive ability, i frequently have close calls but it's because of my fast paced play that is a bit dangerous but i'm used to it, usually only die to lag.

5k ES - 80 all resists
83/402 MF - clairity / vitality / discipline / purity of ice + fire + light
2x perma curse. Ele weak + enfeeble (i'm still trying to hit 90, enfeeble helps not die)
BM's are linked with IIQ/IIR gems and i don't even run zombies until i get to hard bosses because they slow clear speed by getting in way of BM's.

Temple piety and hard bosses my only problem.

Reading this build was thinking about changing to life / seething flasks as all i use now are quicksilvers each with a bonus to eva / res / armor / frozen + chilled with 1 granite flask. Basically i just pop all 5 flasks and right right through the mobs and clear the map as fast as i can run only back tracking to see what dropped. I rarely even curse now, it actually slows me down.

I think seething flasks will solve the piety problem, but i'm wondering the character survive ability. With 5k ES and 80 light resist approaching piety in temple, 2 lightning strikes takes me to half, thinking maybe i should switch to HP build so i can heal myself to get to her then the mins as well while she is dropping.

Or perhaps the seething flasks would be enough and i just need a better way to approach her than full speed running to her.

Also, does freeze mine freeze her completely? If so, just need to get to her and lay one down.

Input appreciated.

It was just a demonstration but this is pretty much what happens in high level maps as well. Level 76+. Also if you plan to party and mobs takes a bit longer to kill freeze mines will freeze packs for a really long time.

I just look at it as the ultimate defensive curse. Mobs deal no damage if they are frozen. I don't need offensive curses when I solo, things pretty much die in 2 seconds or less. It also helps that the mobs when frozen stand in place so my minions don't need to chase which saves some time and sets me up for some easy dominating blows.

-------------

Seething flasks are really good especially if you start grabbing those flask healing nodes.
