Maybe I unequipped and equipped a piece with a lot of energy shield?

I made my very first PoE character with this as a guide, went straight onto hardcore and now noticed you haven't really played hardcore yourself so I have to ask, do you ever ever ever die?
Also, for thoose 60 levels I have shed sweat and tears trying to keep my minions alive, is there any secret that suddenly changes this? I play in party with a frost mage, is that maybe the problem? Dominus cruel was really a pain in the ass! |

The thing with starting HC with a summoner as your first character is that its going to be a royal pain in the ass. Summoner isn't good until you reached a high gem level on zombie and spectre which most likely means your past level 60.

Speaking of flameblast and early game summoner play. They were meant for each other, lol. Instead of just spectral throwing up to act 2-3 merciless, now you can play damage summoner. Minions "tank" and draw aggro to themselves while you channel. The beaty of it is that flameblast doesn't need passive investment to do good damage.

Just a sad news...
After finaly getting all set (wideswing) i found that snapshots doesn't work with animated guardian: 3 l rrg wideswing poleaxe (gem supported by level 20 inc aoe..bla-bla-bla) Mele splash + animated guardian+faster attack Put your items on the ground summon your guardian. : It has splash but seem not to get inc area of effect. Go to town switch your weapon and gem butwithout the support... Your guardian has lost splash :( Maybe i m doing thing wrong.. currently i cannot try to resummon it to check if it keep the benefits of the summoner stuff. I also respected necro aegis..wanted to have. Super blocker guardian. .. at the moment he barely survive sarn enc merciless... quit disappointing. . Can any confirm for the guardian. .too many sleepless night in the counter... You ARE my Bitch of burden!

" Guardian is exactly like auras. It'll check everything at the time hes summoned, so if you rezone and switched out gems/equipment he'll lose the boost. |

I've been playing this build, the pace that I do maps 73+ is awsome.
The only maps I've troubles with is: piety map, and torture chambers (havent done dominus or the 78 piety map ) Then I bought and torture chambers is doable whoever my minions all die (expect the 3 I do with Montreguls). I havent tried piety yet with montreguls, but help for piety would be awsome ( my problem is that my pets all of them die before I even get to piety, and when I do get to piety they die in 3s.. I've almost all gems at lvl 19 some with lowish Q% and I run ManaReg,Eva,Resist,HPRegen auras. |

What map affix did you run piety on? If you rolled lmp and gmp your minions will die before they kill her. If not its a race against time
