{3.2.0} Spectral Gods: [Life Based Spectre/Golem Hybrid Summoner | Clear Speed | End Game Bossing]

There's no way Doon or Redbeaks "Increased Damage" works with minions. Doon's Iron Will would if spectre is socketed in it. Increased Damage passives and gear never work with minions. The exceptions are minion damage and necromantic aegis passives. It's totems that benefit from your increased damage, not minions.

If someone proves me wrong I'll eat my hat, but literally no other damage bonuses that apply to the character also apply to minions, you're barking up the wrong tree there.

Monsters/Spectres dont have STR, so they can't benefit from Iron will. Its pretty straightforward to test since you literally can't support raise spectre with iron will
Does fire pen not work on BM's?
Degen does not count as a hit, fire pen does not work

And yes, minions don't suffer from Merciless Resist loss. Zombie default is 32/64/32, which means that with Purity of Elements alone, Zombies get to 73% Resists, WITHOUT the Resists from Mon'Tregul's (which would really just overcap them for Curses.) BMs have 64/0/0 Resists as far as I can tell, and Evangelists are 32/32/32 I believe, not sure...

What about Necromantic Aegis + Saffell's Frame?
80allres + spellblock can be nice
Anyone have experience with Map Dominus and the survivability of your BMs? I like to be safe, because I'm too lazy to resummon my Minions, but am I just overestimating their squishiness?

Can anyone conclusively confirm whether or not snap shotted mods are being reset on zone change or not?

Some people are claiming they aren't and some people claiming they are after a certain recent patch.

Just as an example: If I am snapshotting zombies with Mon'trguls, sidebreath, and BOR. Are they retaining all of those benefit until they die or are the values recalculated when changing zones as some claim?

Any help with a solid answer to this is much appreciated.

Easy to test with Mon'Tregul's. If your Zombies aren't big anymore, or blow monsters up on kill, it doesn't. ~.^

Hi,

I was discussing this build with someone, and they said that curses are much less effective, maybe 50% less effective, on bosses and uniques (and maybe rares).

Since this build can absolutely destroy mobs without curses (I know i forget to cast them a lot), and the curses have a lot less effectiveness on the bosses which are the hard part, the idea was that maybe the hex nodes could be put to better use, perhaps as more life.

Any thoughts ?

Even if its 50% less effective curses are still extremely effective

-30% ele resist
20% less dmg
20% more physical damage
ect ect

for enfeeble, ele weak, and vul

yes they are still effective. and it's not obvious to me that using those 5 points somewhere else would be as good as even the reduced advantage too.

and even though you can steamroll the mobs without them, you steamroll them faster with them. vulnerability + B.M. is ridiculous, in a good way :-)

I like having the curses, but it's always good to think of the options especially as the build gets to higher levels.

Fair enough, and that is easy to test.

But I was actually more concerned with the gem links being retained.

Like will the zombies keep all the benefits from the 7 gems from BOR once it is changed and the zone has changed.

We all know this used to work fine (maybe still does), but many people are claming that it has changed and I have been unable to test it myself yet as I am out of town for another few days but I would really like to know.

Thanks
