{3.2.0} Spectral Gods: [Life Based Spectre/Golem Hybrid Summoner | Clear Speed | End Game Bossing]

I guess killing things too fast can be a problem =D. Honestly CoD is super overkill.

I never had any problems in reflect maps i guess my regen is high enough?

how come no remote mine in the first and 2nd BM style?
Just a matter of preference really. There are some days where I don't feel like cleaning up corpses to get at the Bm's

i was at the 68 museum map. 1 of my zombs went ahead and slap a big group (like 10?)...his hp is down to 1/2. probably cos of CoD and BOR stats. too dangerous. its a hassle to revive the zombs (6 times...)...lol.

So I've been messing around with my guardian (only lvl 15 at the moment). I'm not getting great frequency on the Raiment procs yet but I haven't quite set him up the way I want. I got bored and 6 linked him with CoD, Multi, Faster Attacks, Melee Splash, Melee physical and gave him a big 2h mace. He does ok damage like that, kind of like having a persistant zombie.

Next up on the experiment is leaving him with the melee damage and getting Necro Aegis and Saffell's see if he can do decent melee damage and get reasonable des ground procs from the spell block from Aegis.

If he has a 2 Hander hes not gonna get any procs.........

Lightbane Raiment + Crest of Perandus = 20% proc chance per blockable hit (.4 * .5). It defiantly will proc constantly enough if he has any aggro at all.

Also, you do NOT want to set him up for physical damage if your abusing Desecrated Ground (or really any Guardian build). He should always have minion life, then add whatever DPS attachments you want (Remember Desecrated Ground is an AoE Chaos Degen).

Saffell's will honestly be a horrible idea. He'll lose all of his physical block. If you want spell block, go Rathpith Globe. He'll have 70% Block with Perandus + 42% Spell Block. If you feel like gambling expensive items, you can go with dual Rathpith Globes for 60% physical block and 72% Spell Block.

TBH, he only shines on bosses where he can soak some auto attacks from them or nearby adds. Don't expect a whole lot out of him against say Temple Piety where she won't even bother to auto attack, and even if he does trigger a Spell Block via Necromantic Aegis (Really don't recommend that Keystone) he may not even be within range for the proc to affect her.

Yes I realize that he's not getting procs with a 2h. I ran him with a 34% block shield around for quite awhile and was underwhelmed at the proc rate. I'm going to try Saffell's because he doesn't seem to ever have agro, but if he's taking residual spell damage that he can then block and is getting desecrated ground procs from that, I think it might actually be helpful (piety for example), because as it stands right now for me he's just a cool gimmick and not actually useful with CoD zombies and BMs.

I mean it really boils down to making any of the 'harder' bosses easier, which for me are all spell damage based so we'll see how I do, or really, how many Raimant's I lose trying, heh.

Part of my thought process say, for Temple Piety, is double dipping shield block/spell block with Necro Aegis, linking him up with either physical damage or if the Des Ground proc does enough damage and just standing back in a couple Evangelist bubbles and letting him solo her. I don't know, we'll see I suppose.

Can always run Saffell's in one weapon set and high physical defense shield in the other and switch accordingly with Necro Aegis, just leaving the Guardian with Perandus or something similar.

Perandus + Saffel's + Purity of X lvl 23 = 85% resistances with a 75% chance to block spells. So, again this is all in theory, if he can do enough damage with the Raimant proc or physical damage, this may work well against the bosses that I consider hard with hard mods (-max resist etc) as minions aren't affected by these.

Now can I stay alive on Crema/Torture/Piety without shield stats? I don't know, I guess that's the issue, but it is interesting to me to theorycraft it somewhat while I level my guardian gem up to 20.
anyone tried 20% CoD on zombies? x3 more powerful than 20% meleesplash. CoD is indeed overpowered. worried that it will be nerfed. :(

I happened to have an 18% CoD when people realized that it was amazing for snapshotting, and yes, it's pretty ridiculous. I don't even have a Grasp; I can only imagine.

I'm hoping rather than nerf CoD they change snapshotting to make minions persistant like Animate Guardian. I know it's a lot more gem slots, but being able to re-summon CoD minions INSIDE maps would make summoners so much more group viable (and save us a bunch of boring set-up time).

Most of my limited grouping experience is either me paying really really close attention to my minion health bars and sweating every difficult boss/room, or slacking and losing my CoD zombies/BMs and becoming an aura/curse bot. Bleh.

If they change snapshotting AND make CoD not work like it does with AG... then well, I'm just a sad, sad panda and I would probably move on to a different character.
Are Evangelists better than Burning Miscreations? You get an anti-range bubble, and they do a physical variant of Storm Call. Looks pretty good.
