CoD : yes - so the idea is that you die - it makes a zombie - ??? - profit. I'm really missing something as to why that's a useful mechanic. Also too - you'll need a portal attached so you can get back to where you were. ooooooh, i get it. if there are no minions around to kill and create zombies - you can die to create them. LOL. Kind of annoying if you don't want to lose 10%. Took me long enough. haha. it'll be kind of important to have a portal gem too.

Honestly, probably better to 6L Zombies and 5L Spectres. You lose out on 100% Increased Physical damage and the massive Corpse Explosion that Grasp Zombies bring if you do it your way (You can use the same Tabula to do Zombies and Spectres and still have a 4L leftover).

As for the CoD question, a 20/20 CoD nets you 304% MORE Physical damage and 60% Increased AoE.

That is why people are using it on Zombies. Dying in Normal costs no XP, then you can take them to wherever you need to go.

What...? how come when I run reflect maps I barely feel that my zombies take damage? Maybe its my habit of spamming animation and walking close to them with vitality?


Well i dunno, since latest patch every group of monsters with reflect that my zombies end up blowing, does alot of reflect damage back, enough damage even while spamming flasks and my auras have enough radius for 1 screen.

Tried summoning montregul zombies with a lvl 7 cast on death(lol)9q, went into an elem reflect map, and the second they blew the monsters up, they went from full hp to dead.

As of now if i'am not careful even montregul zombies can go low health due to reflect, i did put 3 minion damage nodes, the ones near xtra spectre, and the one near witch start.. maibe that takes those multipliers into acount and it's just too much damage..

So, I got to thinking, wouldn't Anger and Wrath be massive modifiers now to zombies with CoD???

(4.04 CoD * .64 Multistrike * .84 Melee Splash)*(2.5 Passives + Sidehebreath) = 5.43
Attack Speed = 2.07 * 1.54 = 3.19 Attacks per Second


Anger(20) Avg Dmg = 125 * 1.72(Aura Passives) = 215 * 5.43 = 1167.45 * 3.19 = 3724.17 DPS
Anger(22) Avg Dmg = 145.5 * 1.72 = 249.4 * 5.43 = 1354.24 *3.19 = 4320.03 DPS

Wrath(20) Avg Dmg = 150 * 1.72 = 258 * 5.43 = 1400.94 * 3.19 = 4469 DPS
Wrath(22) Avg Dmg = 174.5 * 1.72 = 300.14 * 5.43 = 1629.76 * 3.19 = 5198.94 DPS


I did not assume resists or curses since it can vary wildly from monster to monster. All this is based on 0 Resist, so the damage may exceed or do less. Also, this was factored with Melee Splash as the primary target. Replace .84 with .69 to find out the splash damage.


For those who like to run Alpha's howl and can afford a few extra auras, these 2 might be worth adding. Just above 10k DPS added by running a level 22 Anger + Wrath.

after the patch minion damage works on degen type stuff like for bm right? is it same for the minion damage gem as well? so can i do minion damage + burning dmg for wtf dps.

also if you snapshot with TB do you need another pure ES chest or could you equip like a 1k evasion chest to give u more survivability with like 1 lbue socket.

Yes and Yes. There really needs to be a commonly asked question at the start of this thread.

Btw, here is the optimal damage setup for Spectres (although after leveling feel free to use a CoD gem for some WTF damage).

RS > Remote > Trap > Conc > Min DMG > Min Life

For those who need some more range

RS > Remote > Trap > Increased Burning > Min DMG > Min Life

Max range

BM > Remote > Trap > Increased AoE > Min DMG > Min Life
Anyone have any tips for temple piety? All I've found to work is stack evangelists and run out when bubble goes down and this takes forever. I've ran purity and purity of lightning and zombies/spectres still just get crushed. I haven't had much trouble with any other boss (cept stupid jungle valley spider). Tips? Tricks?
Is the 1 extra curse rly better than getting +zombie and +30 % (or 45 %) minion damage?
how is remote trap going to help bm's ? and how does cast on death make them do more dmg?

on your second yes was that a yes to that i need another pure ES chest or a yes to i can get a pure eva chest for crazy armor?
