Australian Test Gateway Feedback (Updated)

I had this issue back in mid may - Where it should have been 50ms and I was getting 230ms;

I called up Vodafone (NZ) and spoke to the tech guys about it, twice, - They then asked me to do a bunch of ping/traceroutes and speedtests over the next few days and send it to them.. witing a day or so my ping had dropped to 50ms and it was stable like that for 2 weeks.. so i left it at that and didn't pass anything on (though i kept the data i had collected)

So when it started happening again - I started recording data once again and today I have sent that off to Vodafone with the support tag from the original case.

Hopefully it gets resolved soon because playing with 200ms is bareable, but, not at all, ideal.

Hi guys,

Just an update on the Vodafone issue - our AU server host are aware of this issue and are currently trying to get it resolved from their end. We expect to have the issue resolved within the next 48 hours.

For me everything was working perfectly up until 2230 31/05/13, I have had 200ms+ since.

Thomas says the AU server host are going to resolve it, by the look of my pathpings it's telstraglobals problem. Would the server host be able to resolve telstraglobals problem from their end?

just had a confimation from a telstra/Vf staff member.

Still get the occasional "this requires the account to be logged in" issue. Game freezes for a few secs, log back in and rollback has occurred, map instance gone. Latest one was today at about 5.15pm Aus time.
First off, the Aussie gateway is amazing! Thanks so much for providing gamer's with one, it feels like a different game. Having a little problem however..

This happens to myself and my mate that i play with (also an Aussie on Aus gateway). We have been experiencing server disconnects at least a few times per day. The internet on our end does not drop but POE will just randomly disconnect and roll the server back. This is causing us to lose maps/drops etc. When we are partied together it shows each other leaving the party even though we can run around and still kill/pick up loot for about 30 secs. Then it will DC/roll back.

Is this a known problem? Disconnects and server roll backs?

Aside from that, well done, game feels great!

I had the same thing happen at around 5:15pm too. It normally occurs when I try to enter a new instance and get the "failed to join any instances" message. Few seconds after that I get kicked.

What did you say to get these people to tell you to do speedtests?

I cant imagine if i asked Vodaphone support about gaming they would reply with anything other than "WTF?" and useless advice from a manual about checking modem wires delivered in an accented voice

Back to 50ms with the new patch. but for some reason when i make a new eternal lab and do maps(solo), it takes my ping up to 220ms. like it's connecting me to another gateway.
I've been playing on the Aus gateway for a few weeks now, and it surely is a double edged sword.
So I now have the choice, play with ~50ms and randomly have instances close, with xp and drops rolled back...
Or, play with ~250+ms and have more stability.
Both options are rather unappealing atm.
some areas give me 220 ping, some areas give me 50 ping. kinda weird im playing solo yet it's acting like im playing in party so it's connecting me to a different gateway

sitting in the eternal lab i get 50ms ping. enter my map instance jumps up to 220ms. same with lunaris 2/3 both give me 220ms. different instances connect me to different gateways :(
