Legacy of Phrecia Endgame Specialisation System
The atlas passive tree as it currently is, and its implementation, is one of the best things to ever exist in Path of Exile.
God knows why you are trying to remove it in favor of more limiting and RNG mechanics; and trying to sell it as offering more customization, or barrier breaking. You're not fooling most of us. Sounds awful to me. So if you want to focus on specific map content, you need to spend your time on the trade website trying to trade individual idols one at a time right?! LOL Regardless, not interested. Who is making these decisions, jeez... Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks simply isn't fun. Rework stacked decks needed.

Atlas in it's current format was 1 of best things.
Now if i wanna try different strats i will have to buy expensive (probably, same like trinket can be expensive af). This will add another layer where god-like players like Fubgun etc farm insane amount of currencies, and noob like me will struggle to get 20 div in league |

Opting out of the best, most deterministic and positive part of endgame for MORE random BS?
Now we have to pick up and mouse over thousands of idols and keep them in 50 stash tabs? Why on EARTH downgrade something that is not only working, but was maybe the best part of POE1.... For me it looks like they are trying to make POE1 so bad you HAVE to play POE2. Last edited by eldheim#2436 on Feb 11, 2025, 1:14:13 AM

I usually love what GGG does but this is quite a heavy step back for me.
The Atlas Tree was AWESOME. It was FREE. And it was FUN to play with. Finding, Looting, Stacking, Checking and BUYING countless Idols is honestly a heavy Downgrade. I hope this change is not permanent. Bubu
