State of Early Access Update

lol, are we playing the same game?

Max resists, armor and evasion both in my 60%'s, lvl 87, still getting one shot by random shit on maps.

I play extremely defensively and still get nuked by random untelegraphed / invisible effects.

Either tone down damage or buff armor so the only viable way to play isn't abusing MoM, Energy Shield.

We cant hear you... Guess you gotta buy some support packs first!

The biggest issues I have with the game are the following (in no particular order):

- No Waystone Tab and No Goblin Troupe Pets carried over.

- Detonate Nearby Corpses from monsters absolutely wrecking melee builds and ruin mapping with only one death allowed.

- Trading is so important in this game and yet it is still at atrocious POE1 levels, make it more of an auction house type transaction rather than a I hope somebody isn't busy and is available and not trolling with their pricing type of transaction.

Other than that I am extremely happy with how this game is turning out. Keep up the great work.

P.S. I want my Tabula Rasa!
0. this is the best ARP I have ever played, I like slower playstile where dodging and skill combination is as important as stats. I tried POE 1, but I keep wanting to roll away from blows. The character can just stand there and whether gets hit or not is based on some numbers and not based on my skills. I like the poe 2 mechanics much more.

1. Recommendation 1: Extend the info tools for skill gems to make them more visible. Like in POE 1, make gem compatibility more apparent. The small pop up window is not good enough.
2. Recommendation 2: Make the passive skilltree more interactive when planning. Make the changes to stats and damage, etc. immidietely visible, already without approving the point allocation or change.
3. Recommendation 3: I think the game could bear a character turning animation when the mouse pointer is turning around. At the moment the character is just turning around like a pupet.
4. Recommendation 4: Think out a more intuitive use of sockets in objects. I understand the skill and support gems are now on the skill window. Think about rune combinations, which may allocate certain passive nods. Think about added levels for certain skills.
5. Recommendation 5: Think about evasion animation
6. Recommendation 6: Block animation with weapons

Thank you for the great game!
Still not understandable why you implemented so many Stuff that was already scrapped in the First Game...

Also i can`t stand the waiting Time for my MTX´s anymore, give me my Stuff! You promised... i need my Path of Fashion 2!
Casuals have eaten my Hobby
make it so we can respawn in maps like we can in poe 1..till then not touching poe 2
This messages makes me think the early access will last at least 18 months, and we won't see any new classes until July/August at best.

My main concern is not the actual lack of updates or new additions to POE 2 but the current state of the end-game.
The friction vs reward ratio in this game feels off the chart currently.

The atlas feels like a minefield of bad layout we can't avoid in order to have some fun, for maybe 3 maps I will enjoy, there's 7 that will feel tedious if not terrible to run.

The tower system makes the whole thing look like a chore, it's repetitive, and quite frankly, super boring.
I would either reduce the number of towers or make them more challenging / rewarding, by adding bosses, extra difficulty or adding an extra mechanics to them.
We don't need more towers layout, we need them changed and / or removed.

The waypoint system doesn't seem to work, at least for me, having remaining rare monster spawn near the player location would be an ideal solution.

As for build balances, it feels like the backlash from the first few patches scared you from pushing further any kind of balance patch.
I understand the game was a huge success and you don't want to scare people away but this is an early access and things need to be balances every 4 weeks or so at least.

Overall the game feels really good, the last changes to endgame content were going in the direction, so keep the good work.
Oh great more announcements of announcements. I wish I played poe1 while it was hot because I missed out on the cool GGG.

LOG OFF
blah blah blah wont fix trade issues because we profit from the rmt, got it..
The biggest issue I've run into is the economy plus I believe there is a bug in my character that is lowering my drops. At level 95 on my character with over 600 hours in the game I can't even make enough for an upgrade since the weapon i need(rare not even unique) is almost 100 divine. I've done breaches with 10 breaches over 50% quantity over 200% map rarity plus my character rarity(tried at 100,150 and 240) with delirium on waystone I don't even make enough splinters or drops to trade for enough for 100 exalts. This would take a year grinding for 1 item. This drains any fun I have. As a widower the only things I do anymore is work and game. It's all I really have left since 2020 took everything else.
