Ok just add an achievement "got to level 100 without dying" and give them a "you is awesome" sticker. Nope I can pay someone to level me in POE to 100 about a week after league start. Whatever GGG "want" is irrelevant, it isn't a challenge, it is a meme and always has been. I CAN PAY!!!! Is the real reason.
Seriously if GGG allow players to "pay" ($$$) in game currency to other players to level in no time AND allow these mechanics to remain, no argument will convince me otherwise. Muh challenge, muh build not gud.... Nope allowing insane grind to be bypassed with currency that can be purchased on one of the many google advertised POE1&2 currency for cash sites is a proxy scam by GGG.
That "achievement" already exists, it's playing a HC (SSF) character to level 100.
Bruh... for a "level service" you have to get the needed currency in the first place AND someone else (the carry/group) who is carrying you had to overcome a lot to do so.
You just avoid the personal challenge with a service ppl offer who had to overcome another challenge to offer you this service.
Like it or not. Everything in this game is bound to choice and investment.

Thats mostly nonsense.
The only thing that prevents a person with level lets say 95 to reach level 100 is time. With level 95 you already did a lot of tier 15 and tier 16 maps. You can run them without dying. Otherwise you simply dont reach level 95.
It's not nonsense because the entire point is "levelling to 100 is not only tied to time", time is the non-factor here, everything in existence we do takes time.
If you want to get level 100 - GGG wants from you to don't die at all or reduce your deaths to a point where you still level up, so extremely rarely.
It's a challenge for ppl who want to overcome it and adhust their character/playstyle that way.
The point is that level 100 ONLY requires time. It does not require anything. Sth. like this is not what i would call an achievement, because that would suggest it needs skill.

Where does getting to level 100 ONLY requires time? Because in PoE - it does not.

actually 10% current EXP loss is acceptable. 10% maximum EXP loss is totally a crap.

I would say if they really want to keep some exp loss, the best and most aceptable way is losing the xp gained in the current map. that is fair not full 10% where those 10% take 30 maps to get.

He guys, I'm a very bad driver and still crash into things so it cost me alot of money. But they took all money I saved over time and that's not fair. I should be able to crash infinite times but not pay more than I earned from current month. Can this be changed? Because it effectively gatekeeps me from buying a new car.

Zero reasons to play the game where leveling become impossible before actual level cap. And what's worse - its not about a number, its about a last passives, that are efrectively blocked by poor game design.
This also plgues poe1. Lvl90 is soft cap. After that there are no much reasons to play

It 100% is the case in standard. You dont need actual combat skills. Once you can run Tier 15 without dying, then you can eventually reach lv 100. The only thing stopping you is time. Mobs dont get stronger when you get stronger. You cna reahc lv 100 with only running tier 15. You dont need irradiated or corrupted you dont have to go into any league mechanic. You can reach level 100 this way.

NO, this game is still too easy. We need random item drop form inv when you die, of course with a chance to recover it in time frame.
DO NOT MAKE THINGS EASIER JUST BEACAUSE SOME PEOPLE CRY xd
