Serious question for people who enjoy poe2 more than poe1
" how can you say that its superior in every way when your highest char in poe is lvl 84? like...did you even give poe a chance? no. you can get to lvl 90 just by spamming easy maps. you didnt even give poe a try. and leveling in poe is at least 10x easier than in poe2...so i doubt how genuine your post is TBH... what lvl are you in poe2? if its higher than 84 then you clearly didnt give poe a chance Last edited by Lyutsifer665#1671 on Feb 4, 2025, 7:16:46 AM

" I do. You can restrict yourself in using certain broken skills and even lategame might become somewhat fun too. Ofc, this way you can't do breaches, rituals, can't become reach, but who cares if you can have fun instead. Last edited by Suchka_777#4336 on Feb 4, 2025, 7:20:32 AM

" and? they had more than 1 big patch that i missed>? do tell..,.BTW other companies do a patch every week or 2 when they have an EA game |

" Better crafting, gear drops actually matter, campaign is way better, game is actually fun to play until endgame (rather than PoE1 where it's only fun to theorycraft and playing is boring as hell), endgame at the core is more fun than PoE1 (but league selection is garbage, I hate breach, ritual and delirium). PoE1 is just a bad game. PoE2 only endgame and balance is bad and mostly because of league selection. If leagues I mentioned didn't exist in PoE2 it would've been 100 times better as a game. |

" Yeah, true. I was talking about that mid-late-game period. If you create your build by yourself (easy to do, btw), you feel fine in early maps tiers (1-5) because your character is balanced. Afterward, you kinda lack optimization and need a "broken" build. And in late-late-game, you get so much currency that you can make anything just by the sheer numbers. My issue with the endgame is that mid-section. The way maps and mechanics are balanced, basically. |

still nobody had given a valid answer...so let me be a bit more specific...
tell me why running breach/deli/ritual in augury/seepage/vaal factory etc is better than running it on strand or dunes or some other NORMAl poe1 layout? tell me why poe2 end game is better than poe1. i am still waiting Last edited by Lyutsifer665#1671 on Feb 4, 2025, 7:25:55 AM

" - hey tell me why you like poe2 more - this, this, this, and that, like it's a combination of things - BUT MAP LAYOUTS WHAT ABOUT THEM? Seriously? |
|
" thats irrelevant tho, the only thing we have in poe2 is the foundation of how the game plays, acts 1-3, the gem system and then a sketch of what the atlas could look like. thats all we have thats actually in the game and has a meaningful level of design put into it. and its all way better than its equiv in poe1. the rest of it is just meaningless placeholders and whatever accidental broken interactions slipped through the cracks. its completely irrelevant what a broken interaction between a herald and a ring is doing right now on a lvl90 build. anything after act 3 build wise in the game right now is meaningless. youve watched a first rough edit of a pilot for a tv show and you are asking who likes it more than a 12 season finished old tv show. its silly to look at them both as complete entities that can be directly compared, its not even a valid way of thinking, its nonsense. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :) Last edited by Snorkle_uk#0761 on Feb 4, 2025, 7:30:33 AM

" map layouts are important for endgame. nobody wants to farm dungeon layouts. your highest poe char is lvl 91 so how would you know...you havent done end game in either poe or poe2 |
