Serious question for people who enjoy poe2 more than poe1
" you can do that in poe1 also...you profile is private so i dont even know if you played poe1 or not... |

" They worked all this time on the campaign and it is awesome, yes. They spent few months on the endgame, released it without proper testing, it appeared to be bad so they want to fix it ASAP, and you sure they are not able to do it, only after 5 years. If you are saying it seriously, sorry, you are just not interesting person to discuss something with. And if you are trolling - even less interesting. |

" you make no sense at all. you think it ok for them to work 5 years on 3 acts and nothing on endgame and then release? and having said all this you still defend them? lol ok dude...not sure if serious or not but i wont reply to you anymore Last edited by Lyutsifer665#1671 on Feb 4, 2025, 7:06:08 AM

- WASD movement
- Active block, which i hope will be more useful - I really do like the new atlas more. Was never a fan of chain running maps - It has potential, poe1 has too much inertia from over a decade of development for drastic changes to happen - Better bosses - They made softcore to be 1 portal per map, which means hopefully there will be less power creep and balancing around glass cannon builds - And finally, i get to see THIS CITY IN IT'S PRIME. I.e. there's new lore to explore. It's like CK3 vs CK2. CK2 still has more content, but still more people play CK3 and it's not just people new to the franchise. They could rebalance endgame much faster btw, already would be done, but they are sticking with their policy to not rebalance in mid league, without large content patch. I don't see why they should apply this policy even to EA, maybe this way it will take 5 years indeed...

" in 2 months they only had 1 big patch...and that patch had nothing TBH..only thing i remember is that una can now play her songs correctly..yay? lol |

" Lol, because we don't. We like, I guess, the beginning of the endgame (T1-6 maps). After that, the game balance just breaks. You asked in the beginning why we prefer PoE 2 over PoE 1, not the endgame. You've been answered. The reasons are simple. TLDR: everything before the endgame is better in PoE 2. |

" it is superior in almost every single aspect. It feels like a game where I am controling a character.. not a michael bay movie. POE1 is a game where after a few hours I inevitable stopped to think.. why in hell I am even playing? The game do not exist. The game is just a test ground for Path of building as 99% of the playing is in the build. In POE2 there is a closer to 60-40% split between in playing and int he build. I also LOVE the slower pace, and that is one reason I do not play the monk. I love to use more than one skill to get a working character. I love to have to pay attention in the game while I play. The only thing POE1 has better is .. crafting. On the endgame specifically.. I do not like endgame on either, but in POE1 it felt souless and zero connection to the world. At least in POE2 they gave you a reason why you are doing.. since the cataclysm and you being stuck in the past. Yes I am a person that consider story more important than anything else. " Played PoE since 2013 (wrote that in my previous post) and spent aroun 3K hours in the game over the years. Played SSF only and never got to red maps. My best build was Absolution Templar with 8k EHP, 10k armour and 250k+ DPS and still got one shotted by blue mobs in non-juiced T10 maps and killing bosses took eternity especially those unique bosses from invitations. My characters felt weak no matter how hard I tried. In PoE 2 i feel much more freedom in builds - you can play something not really optimised and still feel kinda good in endgame. |

" 1000 hours in poe1, 500 in poe2, i did write a big wall, but the stupid site made me log back in and i lost it all, so now you're getting a brief summary. I hate most end game mechanics in poe1, syndicate, heists, beastmaster, necro crafting, are all dogwater. Trial master too, in both games. Settlers gave me ptsd from RS3 Player owned ports, and looked miserable from the jump. Im at an age where i don't want to have to be glued to reddit or YT looking for guides and farms, but PoE1 is fundamentally not a game you can just jump into a play without doing the above, you can't succeed. Poe2 in its infancy allows this, and i like to be able to just jump in and not think, zone out, i was never able to do that with poe1, felt more like i had a list of chores to do everytime i logged in. Unless Poe1s next league looks INSANE, i doubt ill ever pick poe1 back up. |
