The endgame is starting to get boring only for me?

I don't think EA is an excuse for it to have so many bugs, bad and/or archaic choices, flawed mechanics, unbalanced discrepancy between classes, etc. I've stated to some friends since my first week in this game that the "A" in EA stands for Alpha and not Acess. It does feel Early Alpha to me.

Before you pat your own back for being the smartest of your friend group...

Steam Support classifies Early Access as:
Early Access is a unique development model that allows games to be played as they progress towards a full release. Early Access encourages ongoing updates from developers, while letting players participate in direct feedback through gameplay and community involvement.

Also from Wikipedia:
Early access, also known as alpha access, alpha founding, paid alpha, or game preview, is a funding model in the video game industry by which consumers can purchase and play a game in the various pre-release development cycles, such as pre-alpha, alpha, and/or beta...

Read that last little bit. Early alpha is early access. You were almost right, in the most redundant way possible.

I hope you are feeling better now. Does it feel good?

Early Access is not Alpha just because google, wikipedia or some AI told you so, do a deeper reseach and then you take that information and use it somewhere where it's asked for, not in a feedback thread where people are sharing their opinions about what they think is wrong with the game.

Also, where is your opinion on the thread? Or you just came here to play the sensei role?

Ahh, but EA isn't the same as alpha because...you said so? How are you more of a reliable source than the platform the game is on and one of the most widely known sources of information on the internet?

And no, I came here to read some feedback, and I got you redefining words to fit your narrative, so I corrected you.

Judging from 90% your other posts on this forum I can see your Sage/Disciplinary Comittee behavior joining on a crusade fighting, teaching and "correcting" people, it seems this is the only thing you do here, at least recently. Unfortunately I'm too old for this, I'll let you stay on your imaginary holy dais and refrain myself from answering you from now on, I don't want to be like the other guys who go on a typing contest against you, this is not why I use this forum and if I were you I'd get some decent hobby or something else to do instead of wasting energy with this kind of behavior in an internet forum. Peace kiddo, I wish you the best.

Come on, guys, how long are we going to keep rehashing this debate? This is EA; it’s not excusable even if it is. If someone is still having fun, they might struggle to see why others aren’t. On the flip side, if someone is frustrated, it’s hard for them to appreciate that others are enjoying the game.

I’m not trying to discourage discussion, but I’d like to encourage everyone to consider what others might be feeling before dismissing their perspective based on your own experience.

For context, I’m an experienced Path of Exile player too, with 500+ hours in PoE2. I’ve stopped playing for now, and honestly, I’m sad about it. The issues I have with the game are permanent—they’ve existed in PoE1 for over a decade (or at least in the years I’ve been playing). I’ve come to realize these things aren’t bugs or oversights; they’re part of the game’s design philosophy.

So, I’m learning to accept that PoE will always be a mix of things I love and things I hate. The question for me is whether I’ll enjoy the good parts enough to put up with the frustrating ones. That’s just the reality of PoE and GGG’s approach—they rarely give buffs without penalties, and that’s how it’s always been.

Right now, I’m not feeling excited enough to overlook the frustrations. But even if this is the end of the line for me (which it’s not), I can’t deny the value I’ve gotten from this game. I can’t remember the last time I spent 30 buckaroonies on something that gave me 500 hours of frustajoyment.

I know PoE2 will eventually pull me back, and when it does, I’ll come back.

Sir, mad respect for your post, you left me without arguments.

For me it was already clear that these devs are extremely old-school people and very unfriendly towards changes and suggestions, and I'm not even a PoE1 veteran (I finished the campaign and quit). I mean, they are not aggressive of course, but they seem very difficult to change their minds even if their decision is hated by the majority of the community, and this is very bad in my opinion. But after reading posts here and on reddit and watching dozens of videos from PoE1 veterans I'm just getting confirmation on my thoughts about the development team of this game.

The vision I have about both devs I saw on the stream (not sure if I'm allowed to say their names here) is two guys very proud of their decisions and unwilling to change anything, like their work is a unique legendary untouchable masterpiece. They look extremely stubborn, and I mean no offense but also deaf.

I really enjoyed the game for the 550 hours I played, and I understand it needs a lot of rework, but it's a bit hopeless to me when the devs are blind and think almost every complaint from players don't make sense, like their vision is immutable. I mean, yes, it's their game, but they are making the game for other people to play or for them to play alone in their houses?

Not gonna lie, your post is very nice and polite, focusing on the real "problem" (for those who think there are problems), but at the same time it grealty decreases my hopes of this game seeing the changes most people want.
The game is already niche, and if the niche public is not happy with it and the devs insist on "don't touch my masterpiece" it won't be good. I mean, I can't foresee things, but at least for me if all these problems you mentioned don't change I'll just find another game, I hate stubborn people after all lol.

Of course it is boring after 250 hours.

We have 50% of the content and you already have played for nearly 2 months. That is big win for GGG IMO.

Go play some other games and wait for next big patch to hit.
