The endgame is starting to get boring only for me?
I've been playing path of exile 2 for over 250 hours, I've created 3 characters and leveled all 3 to level 90.
It's been fun while it lasted but the endgame and the atlas are starting to get very repetitive and boring. It can't be that it takes so long to craft a tier 16 map with gaps, quantity and rare monsters that it takes 5 minutes to complete it without seeing any valuable item on the entire map. The satisfaction of playing the same map over and over again with the same mechanics without seeing absolutely anything in return is frustrating. The fact that the economy and crafting are totally broken doesn't help either because the build meta is totally out of price and makes it impossible for new players to try them before the official release (which is recommended). In short, the endgame makes poe2 a boring and repetitive game, the atlas is a real chaos. I sincerely hope that a lot will change by the final release of the game. I've got over 450 hours into the game so far and the endgame is full of amazing content.
You play 1 of 4 builds, chase towers, juice your towers then gamble for T16 maps, juice those then run them and get possibly nothing in return. Bossing is similar except you get the overwhelming fun of potentially being one shot by forced RNG mechanics. You also have the great opportunity to use the coveted late game crafting system where you take a useful/powerful item and then play the lottery by throwing orbs at it for a chance to either better the item or ruin it entirely. They're also constantly updating, tweaking, and fixing the game as a whole on a regular basis. They have been very active with the player base and continue to give us updates on what is currently in the works, estimated timeline for when new content will be added, and really just giving us the greatest EA paid beta testing experience anyone could ask for. If you have any technical, account, or payment issues customer support is always there to help and can sort you out in a quick and timely manner as well. I overall couldn't be more pleased with the current state of the game, GGG, and Tencent. I think it's ready for full release! |

Nobody likes the endgame. Either reroll or logout. Streamers are streaming d2 and wow its so bad.

Yeah map system as it is now sucks ass. Its fine for a while but now its just tedious and annoying. Juicing is stupid. Working up to the juice is even more stupid.
The lack of goals to work towards makes it harder to strive. And the most interesting thing about end game right now is watching the market inflate so fast to such an extreme that gearing up most builds is now nearly impossible for anyone not chad-farming from early on. The market problems have really destroyed the quality of life trade league is supposed to have. By the way, because of the inflation of exalt exchange rate its no longer worth selling items bellow 10 exalts. Thats a huge chunk of the market which means less items go up, and the ones that do don't garner a reply because why leave the map. And difficulty in the game is so dynamic. One minute your fighting for your life the next minute your gliding threw butter. Theres no ryme or reason to any of it, and you wont know which one your in until you get smacked with a 10% XP penalty. Every single thing has a draw back attached to it, for some reason. Not sure what that's about, but its not very fun. Counter balance is important but clearly goes too far in some areas. The stance on scamming is insane. Like i get not doing anything about price fixers and market manipulators, thats just the way things are. But breaking trade contracts via switching items or using a different currency is straight up scamming. Its criminal behavior and GGG just lets is slide. That's insane to me, and im sure if any real attention was brought to the problem it would be a big deal. Am i still going to play? Yeah I guess. I believe in GGG and their reputations do speak for themselves. Weather they uphold those reputations we will see. Im also not ignorant to the fact that its ea, 80% of the game is probably still missing, and that they are rushing to get it out. Things will certainly change. Entire systems will be overhauled, or pulled all together. Cool mechanics will be coming to work towards etc. So i guess being patient is important here for me. Anyway thats my blog post Fun things, Sad things... We can't share everything, But what we can, we should share... That is what it means to be a guild. A single persons happiness is everyone's happiness. A single persons anger is everyone's anger. And a single person's tears are everyone's tears. Its not only you. Im now on a warrior and absolutely smashed campaign and have literally have more damage and more tanks than the whole team combined lol it's awsome. But I hit level 66 and end game and I cant bring myself to do maps at all. Its the worst part of the game. Im holding out for new acts and heroes. But im done with maps forever. My opinion is that is just terrible and so boring it destroys your soul. Bring expansions of the campaign and we're good. This end game is a very short pump and dump. Terrible way to play after the excitement of campaign.

They're also constantly updating
bit of a stretch that comment. i wouldn't say releasing a patch and then going back to their caves and saying nothing for over a week is anything close to CONSTANTLY. Only update they've given is to line their pockets again. AKA stash sale The sooner people wake up and realise they have bitten off more than what they can chew, the better. |

We keep creating new characters because the actual fun of the game relies in the campaign. The endgame is absurdly bad. Probably the worse endgame I have ever experienced: it is all RNG based and the most punishing experience by far.
I feel like they are aiming for players that easily get addicted to gambling, just like those slot machines that were banned from Twitch. It is just safer from an ARPG because they call it ''crafting'' instead of gambling. |

The endgame is just a casino. you go in, hope for the best things by using your currencies/pray for godlike drops. EVERYTHING is based on luck in endgame. Even the one-shots depends on whether the enemy crits.
