The endgame is starting to get boring only for me?

Crafting being pure RNG is really what makes me want to play less and less.

Omens not spawning, or even if Omens spawn, all I get are RNG Omens like "exalted orbs give 2 affixes" or "orb of alchemy gives full affixes", makes me feel like even farming rituals is a waste of time.

I kinda feel, for casual players like me, currently the best place to stop playing is having Expert item level 7x or 80-81 items, character level 85-90, farming waystone tier 15/16.

Even T16 I feel is for heavy players because of the RNG involved. Same for item level 82, and the pinnacle bosses.

That part of the game requires disproportionately more time invested, for minimal gains in character power relative to the time investment. It's for people who don't want the game to end.

For the rest of us, level 90 and T15 on farm is a good place to stop.

It's so funny to read this.
I've been playing for two months and still haven't passed the first difficulty solo on hardcore. I don't understand what could have gotten on your nerves and made you dislike it.
You play with immortality and the market, i.e. with a cheat code for all the things in the game about farming and immortals, and you complain that you've achieved everything in a week?!!

Have you tried playing a game where you have to farm things - farm, not buy them and complain that you can't buy EVERYTHING on the market for CHEAP and AT ONCE?
Try crafting, chance - maybe it will suddenly turn out that this also brings pleasure.

Because of whiners like these, games are turned into session games like Torchlight, where clearing the map takes 15-17 seconds and the loot doesn't fit on the screen. And at the same time, for players who enjoy everything in the game - they begin to suffer when the game is sped up to please these players who can't wait to get everything in one day.

The new generation of players is used to getting everything at once and does not know how to enjoy the process itself - they only need a goal - a league or a season pass, and the games themselves have long been of no use to them and are not interesting - they just need a tick "I did it" and that's it.

You are boring and have simply forgotten or not learned how to enjoy games.

It could also be a matter of how the game or story is progressing.:)
I saw where it was heading fairly early and decided to take a break. Burning out on Early Access seems like a bad idea to me. Levling 2 characters and trying them both in T16s was enough for me to give GGG my bug reports and feedback and I'll step back in next economy reset/content patch. Might even make that a SSF run or a HC run to change it up. Lots of games coming up early february and then new poe1 league afer that.

It's funny to read this, as well, but for different reasons.

I'll start with the fact that, by your own claim, you have yet to experience End-Game...and this thread pertains directly to End-Game. I'll leave it at that, for now.

I agree that End-Game is a slog, at present, and partly as a result of the inefficient way in which the mapping interface / system has been set up. I'm hoping for some radical changes. Other negative factors should diminish over time, many having to do with a void where crafting systems might one day be. Some mechanics have taken solid steps forward from PoE 1; Some new monster mechanics are great; Graphics are outstanding.

For now, there isn't really anything motivating me to continue developing my character, but I did stubbornly reach level 88, and I think (considering the state of the game) that is actually an encouraging sign, despite boredom at present.

Here's to hoping for a plethora of good development choices going forward.

Stopped playing when I killed the arbiter. Still need to beat the simulacrum and the king, but GGG made that too difficult and too farmy for me to care about. Next upgrade for my character is a mirror, which I have no interest in wasting my time to get. So I'm out until next league. Or a league ever after if I don't like what the patch notes say.

Checked out POE1 and forgot how much I enjoyed ignoring crap I didn't want to do like killing mobs and rares. Ultimatum is much better and Blight exist too. So nice.

As far as I concerned, there is no endgame in PoE 2 yet. The game end around cruel acts, it is quite short atm.

The endgame is just a casino. you go in, hope for the best things by using your currencies/pray for godlike drops. EVERYTHING is based on luck in endgame. Even the one-shots depends on whether the enemy crits.

But if the endgame is all luck, what is the importance of upgrading maps to T16?
Because i spend 30min to craft a good map, 5mins to complete it, and repeat. is not a good end game.

Maybe and just maybe, a great solution would be to greatly increase the difficulty level on maps T15 and T16, which are really very difficult to complete , and for this reason the loot to collect is extraordinary, thus rewarding the player.

Or apparently if you open a lockbox and suddenly a lightning bolt one shots you (I guess, since there’s no way to know what killed you) despite maxed resists and 2khp 2500es. Lol.
I think the problem with the endgame is that there's no real long-term goal to work towards.

Its kinda like a mix between elder ring farming and synthesis league. You setup a part of your "map" to farm the benefits later. The problem is that the setup phase feels really dull and unrewarding and in the end you still need some luck to find something valuable from the super boosted maps.

People often compare the new atlas with delve but I really like delve and dislike the new atlas. I think the reason for it is that delve has direction, you go deeper > the content gets more difficult. Finding Aul nodes isnt the goal in delve its a bonus. In the new atlas setting up those nodes is all their is. Delve generates steady guaranteed income with small resonators so you are always generating profit by just playing delve.

I think delirium map farming is currently popular because it offers two things the atlas doesnt give you otherwise: No setup, the map will always drop splinters no matter how juiced or unjuiced it is and steady reliable income.
