I literally logged to someone else account in PoE 2 twice by accident, on launch and recently. And its not like i was trying to do that. It also happened in PoE 1 few years ago, it seems (based on my experience) to be happening again in Poe 2.
Plenty of people reported it on launch day, because just like years ago, it probably happens way more often the more folks are online. Heres post from GGG regarding the issue from few years ago:

Thats comment i made few times already, but it happened for third time today. EU gateway, i simply log into the game and see someone else characters, at this point i will probably start recording when i log into PoE 2. My ISP is Starlink, but doubt that matters personally. I guess GGG messing with database on launch date wasnt greatest idea.

Would be amazing to get a recording for this - if a random guy can trigger it three times without trying, maybe the hacker found a way to replicate the condition and abuses it since then.

All I can say as a victim is that on December 28, 2024, after selling a very rare item worth 100 Divines on POE Trades, I logged off around 7:00 PM. The next day, when I tried to log in at around 11:45 AM, I found my account empty. My 2FA was not triggered, and I only logged into POE Trades and the game itself via Steam. That’s all I can share. Just before I sold the item, I noticed some offers from players who initially initiated trades but then backed out, staying in my Hideout for a long time.

They tried to hack me , but I constantly tried to log in to kick them out and I think I managed to save my stuff
