Trial of Sekhema MUST change or go away.

They need to completely remove both Sanctum and Ultimatum as ascension mechanics, and add back in some form of the labrynth that is balanced and able to be completed AT THE LEVEL YOU GET THE QUEST.
This is a situation where developers should be forced to be shamed and accept responsibility for their incompetence. Force the entire GGG dev team to do a playthrough and do the ascension trials at the level they get the quests. They must continue to play nonstop until they complete each ascension at the required level, with the gear they have during a normal (fresh) playthrough. This is what happens when you have incompetent and/or lazy developers that cannot or will not properly playtest their own game. Then they end up listening to a small group of hardcore no-lifers that enjoy in the misery of other people, who want the majority of players to fail so they can feel better about their pathetic lives. I'm not even exaggerating; this is what is happening. |

Both ascendency trials are utter bs and need to be removed and completely reworked.
I'm playing a titan who uses sunder so the crazy ranged mobs on the way to the 4th floor boss in trial of the sekhamas combined with the slow attack speed of most of my stuff made me want to throttle somebody. Whoever is responsible for releasing this even in early access you owe me something to make up for what you did lol They shoot from off my screen, they shoot faster than i cant return fire.. i get into a ranged battle when im melee because i cant leap into them to get stuck in since they shoot me in the air. I want to see somone from ggg run my character through that ascendency then explain to me why they did even make it though the first floor. the other one is even worse with the massive tornado that covers a third of the areana or the crippling choices as you make your way through the floors. Your going to change it ggg my question is why did you even release it in this state? what where you thinking? |

seems like there's a lot of build agnostic content in poe2 designed to OHKO or frustrate so they can claim the game is "hard"

Just bumping this one. Had a phys crit witch I'm loving to play, but on my 4th attempt of this bullshit trial (rng layouts and such can get fucked) I decided to give up and no I'm not paying for a carry to progress my class.
I like the concept of the trials as side content but not for ascendancy. |

In my opinion the whole way of getting our ascendancy needs to be redone completely from the ground up and should be its own thing not something from a league that was total trash and getting not getting used then cause nobody wanted to do it then. well guess what nobody wants to do it now, if they insist of having this trash in the game then let it be a side mechanic where if people want to do it they can but don't have it as a pillar of the game where your forced to play it.
i personally would have really liked to have it so each ascendancy was kinda lore driven to get your points, tho it don't need to be over the top, something simple where its engaging with the class your playing and that was i think the problem with trials with poe1 it was the same thing no matter what and it becomes more a chore then an engaging and fun element of the game. |

Posts like this just remind us all how much people dont understand anything about sanctum/sekhemas. And rather than learn anything about them, they ask for their removal.

The only thing bad about Trial of Sekhemas for regular runners like me is the time it consumes with less reward.
Less EXP and raw currency reward unlike Sanctum in PoE1. A good number of players don't like sanctum but the rewards make you come back for more. While in here you have to wait for a jackpot reward before you can get profit for the time spent in the trial. Meanwhile, you're still left behind on the EXP. |

Agreed this ascendancy trial is trash, highly conflicts with a large majority of the builds in the game, and offers very little redeeming qualities for how lame it is.
Pure RNG-based dice rolls (afflictions are 100% RNG) as to whether or not the last 1-2 hours of life was wasted is just dumb, bad design, and reflects game developers who don't actually want to play their game. That being said, I don't think it's going anywhere. It's been around for years in PoE1, and these devs just want to die on certain hills. Let's hope the whole game doesn't die on those same hills. |

Agreed. They need reworked. Most players will never complete their 3rd or 4th ascendancy trials. I know several people who have quite POE2 entirely and went back to POE1 because of the current state of ascendancies.
