2 tries at lvl 72 to do 62 level 3rd ascendancy. SSF minion witch, doing tier 3 maps, 75% honor resist 4,5k honor.

1st: 2 floors without any possibility for restore honor, avoided afflictions that would fk my run left me with choice of 2 rooms: no es, or -40% minion dmg. Both literally ment automatic loss.

2nd: again avoiding afflictions that would 100% fk up run ended with me going blindly (no showed room rewards, afflictions and so on). Died on final boss. Again no possibility to restore any honor for almost 2 floors.

Lost total 1.5 hours.

Amount of visual clutter from my attacks and underground, on-ground and weird projectile mobs attack that slowly but constantly eat my honor is astonishing.

I don't know who at GGG came up with this "honor" idea but seriously would sat him at desk and wouldn't let him go until he completed full 10 ascendancies. There's no way this was fully internally tested.

Quitting until it's significantly changed or removed. There's too many other games that don't waste my time with bad design.



Maybe RNG was with me but I don't recall every having a run where there was either no "restore honor" rewards NOR a "merchant" room where I could buy boons [like honor restore types]

I would avoid afflictions that are IMMEDIATE run killers [I.E. no ES for a build that has 1 life and ES]. After that avoid rooms where you are not allowed to properly plan your path through sanctum. I'd take a "more monster life" or "do less damage" affliction rather than getting a "you can't plot your path" affliction early in a run ... very late in a run may be fine but early on is a killer.
The trials are all fine, don't let those suffering from #SkillIssues undermine the challenge of the game.

It's the same players who refuse to adapt or change their build or playstyle, reacting slower then the DMV to what is happening in front of them.
"Skill issue" - Time stop hourglass layout so utterly fucked that even with speed mods it is impossible to not get the suicide death. Shit needs fixing.

They should split the ascendancy requirement from this trial gamemode... is awful
Lets start to log my experience. As if someone gives a fuck.

Did that next attempt, failed. I'm caring less and less.

Lets start a 4th fuckery. At this point, I won't be happy to have my ascendancy points- I'll be happy I'm done with... wait I don't ever actually have to come back to Suckhemas for anything else, do I? Cause I'm instantly fucking done with the game if that is the case.

3rd node, single choice, -25% movespeed. Even if I... like- what, is this even possible?! Do I want to move, JUST MOVE, through the fucking game this slow. NO. Why not just make me unable to move- its pretty much the fucking same thing. I have 20%, so -5% movement speed, are you fucking serious. We realize I have to do other stuff to get these trinkets to drop, in order to even suffer like this, right? FUCK.

FUCK. I'm just quitting this one, cause FUCK THAT. Yes, I have actually continued with movement speed loss before- it is the most crippling assmunch of an experience ever. Its actually insane I haven't already quit this game.

If the rest of the game had been even anything less than amazing- I'd easily just be done, easily.

K, didn't quit, its not in my nature to quit. I did try, stood still for the entire mob killing one and lose all of my honor- so fuck it I guess.

Was able to RNG trade my -25% move speed for a 'traps are faster' penalty. Luckiest I've ever been.

2nd floor, 3rd room, thought I was getting lucky. 40% less damage or 25% less max honor... hmmm, well I've had 1k since 1/3- so lets go with less max honor.

2/6, well, I have less max, but I'm back to full... really lucky run so far.

2/7, fuck, monsters get 50% more life. 50%, bosses too, no choice. Well, that pretty much fucks it. I've only fought the 3rd boss once, I don't see me killing it the second try with 50% more hp. Continuing on.

2nd boss, died. Forgot they had 50% more, was wondering why it was taking so fucking long. I don't know how you do that fight as a melee, no fucking idea. I'm getting hit and I'm on the other side of the map constantly kiting them around. I don't get it.

I also know I'm going to get to the third boss and die- I don't know how many times before I beat it.

This is absolutely fucked. I've never seen anything so fucking punishing in a game. All they have to do is start fresh per floor and its fixed.

There is zero reason to carry boons/curses(whateverthefuck) throughout the whole thing. I'm all for things being tough, but games are supposed to be fun. We're forgetting the fun part.

Past all that, no one except the elite fucks have time for this. This is so fucking stupid, its such a waste of time.

Do you want to paint a wall or play Suckhemas- I'll paint the fucking wall thanks.

honestly it feels like complete RNG to me at this point, could i beat it? absolutely if i give it enough attempts... but its stupid.

doing absolutely fine and then i randomly get hit with "lose all evasion or "lose energy shield" or armor" depending on your build and its just all over. and sometimes there is just no avoiding that.
you either get blinded to whats ahead, get forced down a path before u can see its puts your there.


if there was actual skill involved and not so much god damn randomness maybe it wouldn't be as bad.
but right now it feels like 75% luck and 25% skill
and yeah the honor system is really stupid

every single attempt ( and ive done.. 6 now)

the losses are just *random*, not something you could avoid by "getting better

i stacked my relic with honor resist and everything but, the RNG of it feels soo terrible.
