Trials of Sekhema is bad

Do chaos then.

Sekhemas has been toned down enough.

Or wait for the 3rd one to come out.
Both Sekhma and Chaos SUCK.
Sekemas is weird af.

Trying to carry my friends, the instant they enter in the book room before the boss they enter directly with 0 honor and a message that they failed.

I don't even get to start the encounter.

They are already having their 3rd asc activated so noone knows why this happens.

How are people doing carries non stop when ppl die in the lobby :/

Never have written in a forum for anything in my life. Over a week of trying to get my 5th and 6th freaking ascendency points. It feels so bad to make it 3 floors in a die to some bs 1 shot only to be sent out with your only hope of ever getting those points is between hours of maps when another stupid coin thing drops. The most diablo 4 thing in the whole game is this stupid trial. You should be able to just keep retrying at a certain level. Why do i have to do all 3 floors of trials with random afflictions that keep building up. Im so desperately trying to not hate this game because of this 1 thing because it is so fun. but everytime i get a trial coin with ascendancy points and i fail it, i literally debate uninstalling. Absolutely insane someone over there thinks this is what the player wants. But surely im the only one that feels this way
Ive been running 4 floor sekhema trials without problem up until a couple of days ago when suddenly the spacing on the time stop phase has gone absolutely wild.
Last 6 attempts (for rewards, I already have my 4th) have all failed at the time stop phase because the items you need to walk over have been spaced so far apart that without the Hare foot boon it is literally impossible to hit them all.
Im bored of running the same maps over and over and now one of the last things of interest has turned into impossible bullshit.
I have 15k+ honour left when entering the final phase.
I have 25 MS on boots, I have MS on relics, I cant easily get more MS on boots as I have most of my resists covered there.
I am very much losing interest in the game now, and just want a new Poe 1 league to launch as soon as possible.

please spend some serious development time in here before nerfing more builds. it's legitimately miserable.
2 tries at lvl 72 to do 62 level 3rd ascendancy. SSF minion witch, doing tier 3 maps, 75% honor resist 4,5k honor.

1st: 2 floors without any possibility for restore honor, avoided afflictions that would fk my run left me with choice of 2 rooms: no es, or -40% minion dmg. Both literally ment automatic loss.

2nd: again avoiding afflictions that would 100% fk up run ended with me going blindly (no showed room rewards, afflictions and so on). Died on final boss. Again no possibility to restore any honor for almost 2 floors.

Lost total 1.5 hours.

Amount of visual clutter from my attacks and underground, on-ground and weird projectile mobs attack that slowly but constantly eat my honor is astonishing.

I don't know who at GGG came up with this "honor" idea but seriously would sat him at desk and wouldn't let him go until he completed full 10 ascendancies. There's no way this was fully internally tested.

Quitting until it's significantly changed or removed. There's too many other games that don't waste my time with bad design.

Both Chaos and Sekhemas trials are straight up miserable. These were the worst mechanics in the 1st game imho, and now I get the "honour" of having my character ascendencies locked behind them.

First 4 points aren't too bad, and don't take long, but the amount of stress and time being wasted beyond those just aren't worth the last 4 points. If the last trial is filled with that much rng misery and time wasting, then I'm gonna consider ascendancy trees finished after I get 4 points. Why would I choose to be that stressed when I just want to have fun playing the game?
I want it gone now and never implemented again.
I got my 3rd Titan [Warrior] Ascendancy with Sekhema's trial. Not sure if this helps but I'll try:

1. Run lower level Sekhema's [Sanctum] trials. Build up a large number of relics. Look for ones with honor resistance [as much as possible .. cap at 75%??], + maximum honor, + % honor restored. Mods like "more water" or similar don't hurt but honor resistance was the most important for me.

2. Get used to what the rooms do, how to balance gathering water for the "merchant", how to look ahead in the sanctum to make sure you plan your path through and don't get run-ending afflictions. The problem is often when you choose a path and the next room [or one after that] only has a choice of one room then you run the risk of getting stuck with a run killing affliction.

3. Get as much damage & move speed as possible. Move speed boots are a must. A movement skill [shield charge, blink, whatever] may come in super useful -- esp. blink with any cooldown recovery speed mods.

4. Try to get large amounts of armour [take less honor damage], evasion [chance to avoid damage], or ES / Life [more max honor] as possible.

5. Try to plan your runs so at the end of floors you will be able to go into the "floor boss" with max [or near max] resolve.

6. If given a choice to "fight" or "run" ... all things being equal then choose run. Fight risks honor often for no real gain.

7. The first priority is to try to plan your path through the rooms. Avoid afflictions that will prevent you from choosing the optimal path through the floor. When you must take an affliction take one that isn't completely run bricking. Note: It's generally more dangerous to take afflictions early .. some afflictions late don't matter as much as the downsides don't have as much of a chance to snowball.

8. If healthy [near full honor] look for rooms to gather sacred water OR to find a merchant if you've got a lot of water built up. Buying the right boon [+25% move speed?] can be a run-saver.

9. If you got unlucky and took any significant damage in a room start prioritizing honor recovery rooms. When you tackle floor bosses you want max honor if possible. This combined with good damage and capped (?) honor resistance will give you most of the cushion you need.

10. While most ranged classes should [probably] stay at range there might (?) be times where you want to be close to a boss. Sometimes running in close circles around a boss makes it easier to avoid attacks than if you're further away. Also if you're closer to a boss you theoretically take less damage.

11. Don't expect that you can necessarily DPS the boss down and tank their damage. Look for your spot and inflict as much BURST damage [and/or damage over time] as you can but be ready to move before the boss catches you with any big hits.
